In 2011, the Rays will get 3rd, if their lucky. They lost Crawford, Pena, Soriano and so many more that made the team as dominant and competitive in the AL East. Boston will probably get first and New York will win Wild Card. Tampa Bay needs some serious signings if they are going to be competitive in the AL East.

The 2007 Tampa Bay Devil Rays were not good. Will a change in name make the 2008 Tampa Bay Rays great? Will Carl Crawford finally fully fill up his expectation list? Will Scott Kazmir continue pitching great but finally get good offensive backup? Will 2008 be the year that the World Series comes to Tampa Bay?

megamanfrk is a Mets fan. His team gave away Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano. Think about how that turned out... Now, if you were a Mets fan, wouldn't you be pissed as hell too? Being a fan of the team that got the downside to the greatest trade in Rays history to date?

how do you figure, Shields missed Coco, and coco punched him, and it took 3 devil rays to take him down. If anything happened it was the rays trying to gangbang coco. The funny thing is that gomes looked like a girl trying to punch coco. that made me laugh

Wow this is kinda sad actually. I like the devil rays, but i'm thinking they should change their name to "The Tampa Bay We Are Supposed To Be Good Next Year" It seems like a good name because i hear the same thing every single season.

Yeah man, I was impressed! they have some quality hitters. But the bullpen is horrible! One of the worse I had ever seen! more than 1/2 had ERA's higher than five. I think only one had it lower than a 4.00.

yeah im from New York and Have always liked the Rays and have always seen there potential as a great team in the AL east stuck under the shadow of Yankees and Red Sox BUT KNOW ITS TIME FOR THE RAYS TO SHINE

Here we are early August and Rollen is traded to Cincinatti. A sad day for this Jays fan. Saw them last weekend at Rogers against the Rays. Didnt know at that time he was going. "Gonna miss you Scott, want to rock and roll with you all night and party every day.
