So that pin got deformed from 1) not being heat-treated and 2) after 10-11
hrs of flipping? If so, do the heat-treated ones not warp like that at all
or does it just take longer?
i am making my own balisong. i have made a blade and a pair of handles,
can someone tell me all the parts i need... like a pivot and bushing... i
am getting confused
+sean hornchek ask on the forums, much better place than youtube.some people use ikbs on their bali pivots, im not well read on balis though so ask the forum experts
+Daniel Sultana Yep - it is when you really think about it - taxes "appear" not to look too bad here but it's death by 1000 paper cuts - nickle and dime sort of stuff. What's even worse is that before the recycling program in my town came into being they pre-sorted the trash (for cans and other highly recyclable material) before the rest went into the landfill - now they charge us to recycle and we do the sort work - brilliant!
+Daniel Sultana Here in the US the trash business is mostly owned by organized crime ;-) Individuals either have to contract with a trash/refuse company or is paid through our taxes (such as our water, sewer, and refuse bill from the city). We sometimes even have to pay for recycling which ends up getting profit from both sides (at least in my case).
+Doggieman1111 Correct in the US it becomes "public domain" though if a business locks it's dumpsters or puts the dumpsters behind a locked gate they can perhaps prosecute for trespass - that's about it. From a business perspective the lawyers may only be concerned about a possible liability issue if someone either got hurt at the site or from something pulled from the trash.
interesting thing i thought of when you mentioned shooting a zippo, in the
vietnam war my uncle was shot in the chest but survived because the bullet
hit his zippo lighter and saved his life
Hi Jeff, I'm thinking about getting myself a zippo, I don't know how to
maintain a zippo though, if you could make a video on that i would greatly
appreciate it :D
