When the traffic controller says "Make Left Downwind Runway 22" he is telling you that the traffic pattern is using left turns and using runway 22 and that you should enter the pattern in the downwind leg. You should enter the downwind patter at a 45 degree angle and then turn "left" onto your base, and "left" onto your final. Left instructions simply mean left turns, right instructions mean right turns. Downwind means to enter the pattern in the downwind leg. Hope this clears some things up for you! +Phriq-O-Pher P.S., the plane wanting to turn to the left is due to Torque and P-Factor. Torque causes the plane to exhibit a left turn tendency with single engine prop driven planes where the P-factor causes it to yaw left at higher angles of attack (AOA).

For your next couple of flights could you keep going along the southern cost and then up the west coast to California then Oregon and then land at sea-tac in Seattle Washington. (That's where I live)

Ita amazing how camera tech has come along thru the years. What used to be luggage sized shoulder carry.. dont forget heavy,, is small and pocket sized.. Nice elevator too = )

that indicator is very green. it also contrasts with the rest of the elevator. its motor runs well. that tv screen beyond the door could answer your question.

I have seen one counterweighted door on a hospital parking garage elevator. That elevator was smaller than this one too, I believe.

Wow that's a very big elevator! Montgomery seems to be known for some large passenger elevators.
