Follow up question, how does one obtain a Martina?

Dark colors will show up! My hair is pretty dark brown, and I dye it dark purple. In my experience, punky color works better and lasts longer than manic panic, but do what you want. Reds or purples are best, as blues and greens tend to look swampy.

Yeap, you need to bleach your hair in order for the bright colours to appear.

I would believe a couple weeks because she said the light pink one lasts about two so I would guess the combo she uses will last longer than two weeks maybe a month or so I would guess

+AmazaynJenn if you mix it with conditioner, they usually last about a week or less. but the color wont be as bright as martinas. itll be like a pastel color

You can look into temporary dyes those last until you wash your hair

From what I've heard, cupcake pink fades to a salmon-like color even with a white base. With what I used here, I didn't have that problem.

Definitely! I just recommend using a toner or purple shampoo like Shimmer Lights, so it doesn't become coral colored or orange (it's happened to me ><). This lasted me probably a little over a month. Special Effects is pretty long lasting compared to other dyes I've tried.

I toned those too and made a whole lot of pastel pink for both my own hair and the extensions. Curling my hair after clipping them in helps a bunch in making them look natural too! ^-^

+Kim Minero I really love Manic panic but I have also heard that ion color brilliance is comparable to pravana's hair dyes. as long as your hair is light or bleached then any color will show.

I only used 1. I cut it twice so the bleach could get out faster :) and I put developer and mix it until it's a creamy consistency. I don't really measure it.

It lasted me a month! :)

Thnxs :) well my roots were black already n daht blue didnt wann come off so I bleach it some part turn white/blonde n green because of daht blue so wen I add the manic pain color n wash it the next day it turn out qreen/pink amd blue :/

long and blue <3 it sounds so pretty! if you want to do this hair color maybe you should wait for your blue to fade completely, maybe the pink on the blue will turn a bit purple. and yes then two bottles would be good.

+Bella Smith it usually bleeds a lot when you first wash your hair (after rinsing it from dying) it won't stain your tub or your body while your washing it. it will stain white fabrics tho. This usually happens during the entire time its in your hair. the bleeding isn't as bright the more you wash it and doesnt stain as much. it usually stays in my hair for about a month. i only wash my hair about 2 times a week and that seems to help keep it bright longer.

+SpiritJewelLps it won't be quite as bright as mine is in the video but it'll still be a pretty pinkish purple. it'll last maybe 3-4 weeks if you take care of it well (like washing it only 2-3 times a week with color protecting shampoo) and it'll probably fade to an off pinkish purple. it'll look pretty though :)

I'm thinking of dying my hair this color, and it's a darker blond (well now a brownish purple because of purple haze fading) and how long do you think the color will last and what will it fade to? Thank you ^^

+runaway hearts Not really. It will still get a little brittle but using the oil allows your hair to withstand the bleach for a longer period of time. If you leave it too long tho, it will still get damaged. I usually leave mine for about 20-35 minutes, minimal damage, a bit of brittle ends, but after a few days hair is OK :D

+Anamei Yuki Lee I haven't tried other oils. I believe coconut oil is the most suitable because it's also very thick. I'm not sure about Argan oil. Some people use them before bleaching, but not during the process. I only use argan oil after bleaching :)

I needed to make it very light because my hair isn't light to begin with. And also I've already washed it a lot but it's still very orange and far from pale yellow.
