This is a video of a raptor 700 drag racing a suzuki 400 at st helen michigan atv park. Raptor has paddle but stock engine and stock exhust and suzuki was also ...
+francisco olivasLtr was still made until about 2012 but not shipped to the US. EPA and Suzuki were in a battle over how easily modified the LTR was and emissions. Fuck EPA.
+Spineshot25 all around now of course the yfz450r is a much better quad. But that wasn't till they dropped the ltr 450. No bike has ever been better than the ltr. I've own both and I'll still take the ltr anyday. Both are great bikes truly but in my opinion the ltr has been a better bike. But that's just my opinion.
Yamaha comoared the yfz with the suzuki 400 quad sport. If they think its the fastest 450 engine then why didnt they compare it with the ltr, exactly, cause they know the ltr is better
+Zack HillWouldn't matter even if the Suzuki had 1000 HP, he wasn't going to win. No traction means he loses. See what I mean? Not even a race. Damn man, don't be so dense.

I hate to be negative, but as an avid ATVer from Michigan, it would be nice
if someone would let the older lady who is trying to look stylish with her
pink visor know that she is breaking State law by not wearing a helmet. And
it sure looks like a beer can in your hand when you're standing by the
river. I would rather see you promoting safe, responsible, LEGAL riding so
that those of us who enjoy the sport can continue to do so.
You are welcome. I do share your concerns. I am even careful to wear my bike helmet. I will be thinking of your (mild) admonishment should I have a chance to go out again with relatives and friends. I know that they love and respect the outdoors of beautiful Upper Michigan.
+Brian Koponen Thanks for the clarification. I'm glad to hear that no one was drinking while out on the trail. I suppose I'm a little sensitive to how the sport is portrayed (even something so seemingly innocent as not wearing a helmet when it's required), but whenever something is posted that can be "snipped" and used to portray the riders in a negative light, the groups that are fighting to close the trails can and do use it! Thanks again for your polite reply!
Thanks for viewing and your comments are noted and appreciated. I was running the camera so it was not myself running the camera and not holding the assumed beer can and I had no beer on the excursion. I don't think there was much in the video to suggest any non-responsible use of alcohol and it definitely did not take place that day. I suppose the lady was not trying to look stylish but finding that there were not enough helmets for so many riders loaned hers to her guests from California. Normally, all riders would have had helmets (as I recall from a previous visit) and would not suggest that anyone not use them. I hope my response will alleviate some of your concerns. Best wishes and safe riding to you.
I live in California, but this video really brought a smile to my face.
And those beautiful still shots at the end....I want to return to the upper
mid west.
I live in California but my sister still lives back there so I get back to visit every year or so. Took my son and daughter-in-law and grandson back last summer. The little guy in the video is my grandson. I hope he will get back there again. He likes to fish but we had no luck on a short time at a little lake. I think he enjoyed the ATV ride as much as everyone else. Even his grandpa had a great time cruising through the mud holes. Thanks for you feedback on my video.
Is that trail designed more towards dirtbikes than Quads? I recently bought
a Yamaha Blaster and live near this trail. Just curious if i should give it
a try or not? thanks!
I think it was originally a bike trail. It isn't all that tight - but very twisty. Fun ride on a quad.
