+lorisew You should be freaked out! Shit is scary!!!! Here are the facts: Diagnosed right away, it's easier for the illness to be controlled. How bad it gets depends on how much of the virus you ingest.... so if you wash your greens and inspect them to make sure you're not eating a whole slug, the likelihood that you'd be exposed to significant viral loads is very small. I usually just wash them in plain water, but if they seem dirty or I see a slug, I fill the sink with water, drop in some sea salt and give them a good clean.
