The mic didn't touch him, nor did the case, he moved too quickly. Besides there would be signs of contact around his mouth such as blood or the beginnings of bruising. In order to crack his tooth, there would need to be contact with his upper lip, and there were clearly no signs of this. In the UK we call this making a mountain out of a molehill. I didn't state that it wasn't amusing objectively. It is. I am simply stating the obvious. If it was a black guy being asked "are you a race denialist" or "is anti-racist code for anti-white" and the black guy hit the guy asking that, people would be leaving comments about how blacks are not academic, but rather impulsive and animalistic due to a small frontal lobe and high testosterone.

Although a fan, I am also an objectivist realist and thus must point out the obvious issue. It seems hypocritical to find this clip amusing given that if it were a black guy being given an unpleasant question who then resorted to hitting the questioner, people would say "oh look, he is being violent because he is black, has low cognitive ability, high testosterone etc.".

1. It was clearly an accident. Rushton wasn't being emotional or violent. 2. It was the guy with the mic that got in the way of Rushton as he was putting his bags in the trunk, and then he has the gall to smear Rushton to insinuate that he assaulted him and drove off.
