+Mozart0042 You do not need scientific data to prove that. They are wild animals and would obviously be better in their natural habitat. Tigers are critically endangered because of human intervention and the destruction of their natural home. By having them in captivity it goes against nature. Humans do not have the right to play god and start defying nature.
+Cameron Lewiz Any scientific data to back up that comment or just running your mouth?
Saints Row 4, Blizzard, Ouya, The Last of Us, Deadpool, game preservation: Speed Run

So much for getting R18+ here in Australia, what a joke, not to mention
that we're still waiting for State of Decay here as well due to the
classification board. What is this, the 20th century or something?
Thousands of people across the globe are volunteering their time, energy, and love toward making the lives of feral cats better, and preventing the birth of ...
Thus documentary tries to present it as cats has no, or little, effect on
bird populations. Of course they have an effect - they are predators and
they hunt birds as well an equal amount of mammals, reptiles and
amphibians. The question is not if it is the cats or humans "fault" that
bird population decline but what we can do to help wild life in general. We
all know that maintaining a predators level above the carry capacity isn't
a recommended solution by anyone. But this is exactly what TNR program
does. For the sake of all wild life we need to get rid of our cognitive
dissonance in this matter - even though it hurts and is painful like hell
to accept. Nature keeps its "balance" by being cruel. The problem is that
we do not see this cruelty so we can pretend it does not exists. Whatever
we do is also cruel to some individuals or others. If we do it in a certain
way we will see this cruelty straight in the face, so we avoid those ways.
That is why I think we don't like the idea to put feral cats to sleep. We
do not want the blood on our hands.... but the blood is on our hand already
since humans created the feral cat problem in the first case. The point is;
individuals will have to suffer no matter what we do - even if we do
nothing at all. The question I ask myself, and this torn me apart as cat
lower, is not how we can minimize the suffering, since I don't believe that
is possible, but what is the "right" thing to do?
+jomen112 SICKO HYPOCRITE. Start listing ALL the animals that humans kill on a daily basis and we could choose NOT to. Including the disgusting "meat" industry, constant murder of innocent animals. Cats go by instinct, at least they don't enjoy or choose the violence the way people do.
I don't agree with TNR but trapping and releasing is okay. Maybe just feed
it for a day if you see a skinny, stray cat is fine! But keeping it and
medically treating it? It's wild, it doesn't need it. If it dies, the cat
will go out how it wanted to. Wild and free.
+D.N.A. Cat As I see it, giving food to a starving cat is no different than giving medical care to an ill cat - in both cases you help the individual to survive. I don't see why you wants to make a difference here.
How can humans say its better to euthanize (kill) these. animals before
they do live as pets. Cats have been living in the wild long before human
intervention and have thrived for thousands of years. They are natural
predators and excellent hunters not just the cute pets we turned them into.
+Rodney Jones "[cats] are natural predators and excellent hunters"Natural to North Africa yes. Otherwise they are an invasive species brought by humans, and turned feral due to human ignorance. The fact that they are excellent hunters does not make the problem with feral cats less. You question was though why some suggest to euthanize or kill feral cars. One reason is that they are an invasive species, which leads in to a second reason: because of cats relation to humans, cats compete with native predators on unfair grounds. At bad time cats get feed by well thinking humans. This turns feral cats into super predators that does not rely on the carry capacity of the ecosystem any more. In other words, the second reason would be that cats causes an unbalance since they can continue kill prey at the same rate when otherwise mother nature would had moderated down the population levels. Which leads into a third reasons; cats affects the wild life in a negative way. A fourth reason is to minimize suffering. However, how suffering actually is minimized I don't actually understand since I understand suffering in nature to be a zero-sum game. A fifth reason is that some people just hate cats and want to see them dead for no other reason than that. I am sure the are more reasons but these are what I can muster right now.
+Nondogmatic Yesh Exactly.I think they should stop feeding them twice a day from those giant bowls and instead just leave one out, checking it once a day for bugs and dirt, but otherwise leaving it alone for a week. Then the cats wouldn't all be overweight and lazy, depending on humans rather than prey for food.
There's just no way to "fix" every rat, especially when they can have 20 babies in a single litter. Besides, leaving other animals to naturally cull them is much easier.

This is why we shouldn't have zoos or circuses. I loth them. These big type
(or any type) animals should NOT BE PENT UP! They deserve their natural
habitat. ...THE WILD! Which we are destroying, it's so sad. How would you
like to be in a cage.....wait, WE ARE IN A CAGE......OF THE MIND. Whats
worse?........
+bbells14 I hear you. About the aquariums, It has been a hobby of mine for some 25 years. Ever since I was little, I wanted to be a fish, so my mom said I declared. I do get where your coming from! Are you aware the pacific ocean is in die-off mode? I've heard deep sea divers (in capsules) that are going down to the depths only to find a rotting grave yard there, words cannot express my sadness of this situation. Fukushima is the single largest disaster of mankind! How many millions live off of the waters?! many millions of people. Can we imagine it, the only wild life we could know in the years to come will be from zoos and the like?! I shudder at the thought! will we only read about the great beasts of the plains in books or on the internet? God forbid! I want all life to be free...that includes us humans too. why must all be so controlled? Because of the evil people in this world, and guess what...they're not takin a day off!! As Marley said. Light out of darkness, amen to that! (be the light) So why do I have fish. I love their beauty number one and because it reminds me we need to keep striving for freedom. I can almost hear what your saying at this point...hear me out. I raise veil tail angel fish, from eggs. Right now I have three and they are in a 55 gal tank, they are small, with plenty of room to "hide out" and swim. In fact, when I'm at the tank they come up to the glass and follow my finger and we spend time together, they like the interaction, I do too. They are safe and protected, no fukushima water here! Could I love them just as much in their nature habitat? I would love it! although we live in a super polluted world, as you may know Angels are very susceptible to environmental changes, they die very easily from enviro stressors. Strong yet fragile, that's why I love them so much. so, are we as a human race a microcosm of an aquarium? much love and peace, thanks for your comment ~ Luisa
+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez you are a retched person. you understand nothing! calling me nasty names is the level of intelligence you are going to live with for the rest of your filthy life. yes, big cats down to the smallest of creatures hunt for their food, stupid. we are animals and BEEF TASTES GOOD!!!!! ok. this is the circle of life here on this planet. wow, the level to which you are unintelligible is without words!
We need licenses for everything EXCEPT for being a responsible parent.
Parents don't have a clue about child development and that is what the
elites want. The way things are going, eventually all children will be
destroyed mentally and physically.
+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez I think if you have a histiry of child abuse you shouldnt have the right to bring another life into the world, when you commit a crime like that you loose that right, jyst like in prison
+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez im not into eugenics lol, like I said there are no easy answers but im standing firm on certain things, society has got sucker by the year
+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez I agree I dont want to live in a fascist state either parents should have righrs too, some parents have been targeted and have had theur children taken away never to be seen again ! So I do hear you
+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez im not pushing anything, im saying children need to feel safe, fuck these do gooders who think ah its wrong to do this or that, ive seen kids drowned in bathtubs, shook to death stomped on and buried in holes so dont preach, there are no easy answers ok
+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez no, of course not, you are miss reading my intentions, ive just seen a lot of sick shit regarding the care of infants and toddlers and its not the majority but it gappens more often than you realuse, not everyone has the emotional capacity to be a parent probably because of their upbringing but it true, they dont know any better,
+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez dude, there are more neglected kids than you realise, im a parent and I used to work with kids, some of the parents were lazy and neglectful ,
You are a perfect example to what is so wrong with the world. You are the problem. Helloooooo..there are professionals who have this all down to a science. Man..I would hate to be your child...poor kids.+Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez
