+Campaigner Awesome man. I've been writing about music a lot. The other day I went to go see the movie "Nosferatu" with a live band doing a custom soundtrack. Maybe just get a bit more sun and keep it up. If you are creating something, anything thats the path to happiness rather then consumerism and capitalism.
No problem..I am an artist and an aspiring writer. Therefore, I may get a little of the "jail pale" look, in the winter especially. As I said, my pictures aren't on this computer. Only have two on this computer. It's not a worry, as I have everything a man can reasonably ask for in this life. A beautiful wife who thinks I'm the shit, or so she has told me something along that line of thinking for many years now. So,who else do I need to impress?. Yeah, a happy guy who gets wrapped up in an art project or writing a bunch of reviews for new music releases for a local art scene paper. So, maybe no sleep for a LONG period of time, a hangover, or I won't admit to illegal substances... as I don't use them like most people...of course, right? All part of a days, a weeks or a month's work. Indeed!
On second thought.... Firstly,it's an old picture...all I had on my new computer at the time. Though, if you were talking about an attack on your Mother, who I have never seen and can't possibly know her. Your comment is DEFINITELY an attack on me personally. I could see if you knew me personally, you would ask such a question out of care and concern. Though, since you don't know me and never will, what would possess you to make such a comment, other than a personal attack to get back at me for my comment? Let me guess, you are under 20? If you aren't 20 or younger, then you have life experience and you have no excuse for being so condescending. Whatever?
+Campaigner That's cool man. I also like "New York". Just was a little confusing I thought you were attacking me. It looks like you are really sick in your profile picture. Are you alright?
I was listening to Lou Reed's "New York" album at the time. Right as I was reading your comment about your father telling you that "Tupelo" was about the night Elvis was born, I heard the line from Lou Reed's song, "Last Great American Whale"...the lyrics went, "Some say they saw him at the Great LakesSome say they saw him off of FloridaMy mother said she saw him in ChinatownBut you can't always trust your mother..." I thought, I love those lyrics, but they make very little sense in the context of the song about humanity killing off whales! So, maybe not appropriate, but it seemed odd that I was just reading about what your father had told you. I'll write basically that your Dad is right, but don't trust Mom. Of course I don't know your Mom. I'm a painter, poet type of guy...so like a lot of songwriters, poets and writers in general, don't take what I or others may say so literally. See, this had nothing to do with your mother...just my imagination run amuck!! I apologize if you took offence to it...no offence intended!
+Roy Orbit He' s right! "A king will walk on Tupelo..." Elvis aka the King was born in Tupelo. Plus this song is from the "Firstborn is dead" album and also this title is refered to Elvis. It is said that Elvis had a stillborn twin.
