21 Questions for Life Where I'm From
Wow, we got a lot of questions after our first FAQ video https://youtu.be/OzEI0RsHevw. So many, that we had to do another one to answer as many as we could.
I love that they also teach English in Japan. Back in Mexico, we were
required to study English. Probably not as good as Japan, or maybe not at
the school I used to go. My family was "poor" and we couldn't afford
private or better schools where you are taught English "correctly."
Anyways, we welcome a new culture by learning a different language and it
definitely gives you a variety of opportunities for the future. Meanwhile,
I've heard from a teacher here in the United States that the Arizona state
(that's where I live) will be prohibiting the requirement of learning
different languages. I am upset to a point since I am not completely sure
that's true, but if it is, we are decreasing the possibility of many
amazing opportunities. It's like trying to avoid outer cultures, even when
the U.S.A is mainly a multicultural country. I am completely in love with
this country, but I really hope they continue teaching other languages, as
well. You don't know how bad I want to learn Japanese. :D
Someone I know from Guatemala learned English, French, and other languages but it was based on her parents sending her to private schools. In America we learn other languages starting in middle school for public school, private schools are maybe different. What state is prohibiting the language learning, I find this untrue because most colleges expect you to know at least 2-3 years worth of another language in order to get in.
+Derek DietscheIt's probably nothing strange, but it's just private. My mother is not Western either, I know for sure she would not want to share her love story with strangers either.
Aggie Greys Fia Fia Cultural Night Samoa 2013, Travel Video Guide

Hi Cass, No you don't have to be a guests of the hotel to attend the
cultural night. The hotel is actually currently closed for a full refurbish
so I am not sure if they are still running the cultural night, I probably
doubt they would be until the refurb is completed. Maybe email them. The
Aggie Greys Resort does the Fia Fia night on a Friday and you just contact
them to book. They are out of Apia though so it depends where you are
staying. Other resorts also hold a Fia Fia night.
