@gissneric This stand turned out to be playful with its naming. The gum is actually pink frosting! Ha ha ha. It tasted good. The stand also had "alligator eggs", but all the other vendors called them deep fried Oreos. Video showing what's inside deep fried gum is here: watch?v=GOpuxi-oVWg

@CPpopedd I tried it this weekend. The butter is completely melted. Kind of like a soft biscuit with a liquid butter center. Very good. I had the strawberry version, bits of strawberry in the butter. There's video showing this and more here: watch?v=GOpuxi-oVWg

@celestinedailylife It is awesome! I got the $7 combo at that stand. Four individually battered and fried items. See the Attractions Magazine blog article for more details on some of the unusual fried items at the Fair.

@friendofvic Doesn't it melt? So if you bite into it, it is liquid in the centre? I have this vision of biting in and having hot molten butter squirt out LOL I would like to try this once just to say that I did :)

Some body got their location mixed up, the state fair grounds is just west of the I-75 interchange and beside US 301. **SIGH** Wish I was there not here, TOO darn cold here right now!

@kazandra11 The cages are holding areas for farm animals in blue ribbon competitions. Similar to, say, the Westminster Kennel Club competition for pure bred dogs in New York City.

@kazandra11 Many of the farm animal owners allow you to pet the livestock. There are antibacterial lotion stations at the entrance/exit to clean up before/after.
