Thank you for the great video. Instead of having to wait a week for a repair guy and a big bill, I was able to fix my AC same day for a fraction of what it would have cost me. I also watched your video on "how to troubleshoot and repair condenser fan motor" which helped me figure out that I would need a new AC fan motor too. Your videos were laid back and easy to follow, making for a quick diagnosis to the problem. Thanks for the help!

OK I replaced it with a new one and hosed out the dirt. Works perfect now. Thank you very much. Next for fun I am going to check the temperature at the fitting. Hopefully all is well. I was concerned that maybe I burned out the pump inside. A little tip. Like you said cross the poles with a screwdriver to make sure it's empty of juice. My friend said there is 370 volts stored in there when they are in working condition.

Well It looks like my start capacitor is burnt out and thanks to your advice tomorrow I am going to get a new one and clean the TRANE 1000 that's full of dirt on the aluminum radiator. I will get back and let you know if it worked. Seems like if it burned out(15 years old) that there is a reason it happened. Maybe overheating. Anyway thanks.
