+juki0h it’s not simple minded to have your own favourite. Everyone prefers different things! Disney World is actually my favourite because it’s bigger, but I love any Disney really
+Sofie Olsen you guys are all missing the point. disneyland has more charm then the rest of the parks, its the original, and nothing beats the original. you guys are talking about rides and stuff like that, im talking about character. so simple minded
+juki0h Having been to both parks, I disagree with you. Yes there are some rides which is better in Anaheim, though there are also some which are so much better in Paris (Space Mountain), they are two very different parks, and I think DLP seems a bit bigger than the main park in Anaheim, also the castle is 10x more amazing in Paris than Anaheim (which also makes the show a bit better). Though it is impossible to compare the two parks, because they are very different. They have way more thrill rides in Paris than Anaheim and it seems like they also have more shows (and in general just more space). Disneyland in Anaheim carries some charm as it was the first park, but it also shows on the amount of thrill rides. Plus even though it might seem different, many of the rides are the same (Peter Pan, Snow white, Pinocchio and Phantom Manor even though the outside looks different (though that is simply because the houses are different around the world, it also has a more Asian look in Hong Kong)) All parks have a very unique touch to them and have different "Focus" points as well (For example the new Ratatouille "World" is placed in Paris as the story takes place there, and there is no such thing as Splash Mountain in Europe because those stories based on the ride, were never that big in Europe)So yeah I love both parks (Actually Paris a bit more), the Anaheim one is very American whereas the Paris one a slight more French/European. Of course we all have different opinions, just thought I would share, since I've been to both parks. (Plus it is also quite hard to really catch the atmosphere on camera, no matter how amazing a vlog is)
+juki0h I'd love to visit Anaheim's one day and I'm sure I'll love it! But that doesn't mean Disneyland Paris sucks. There are MANY things I love about Disneyland Paris that are unique to it.
I last went in 2008. I so do want to go back. It's highly unlikely that my
parents will take me. We went to Disney World a couple of years ago.
Personally, I do think Paris is better, although Florida's studios are
better.
Great vlog made me so excited!!
You said that your train fare was around £60? And that was a return?
Because the cheapest I can find is £69 return but that's with 1 change. Did
you have to change? Maybe you were just lucky and got it cheap?!?!
Thank you! :)Yeah as far as I can remember it was about £60 return with no change. I guess it depends on when you book and the time of year? We're going again in April and for that trip we've had to book the Eurostar to Paris and then change there to go to Disneyland. As the only direct ones we could find for April were about £80! Have an amazing time! x
