this city fucked up man been living ther for 8 year BRO and as you can see from my youtube name gotta sell drugs and rob people and rob stores just to be able to have money in our pockets theres no real jobs in our area unless you wanna work at a fast food resturant like MCDONALDS?? the living conditions are fucked up im only 17 and im saying this like shit is real out here they got us starving and killing each other cuz our hole lives cant change cuz this how it is its just crazy unimagenable!

youre a real milf lindsey. why did you only interview white people for the 2 segments on reading? seeing how the city is mostly latino i think you didnt really explore the city as much as you could have. you didnt really get into the really gritty ghetto areas of reading either. reading used to be so beautiful. now its filled with prostitutes and scumbags thinking theyre hard. i cant tell you how many hs girls get pregnant and drop out. reading needs way more jobs and scum need motivation

As a public school teacher, that maybe a good idea. Some of these school districts need to be broken up into a small acadamies. I don't believe in full abolishment of public schools. I believe that the government can incentivize private businesses to develop a stronger partnership with school districts to assist in funding and to have a deeper impact in devising and implementing curriculum. Or state government should allow local school districts to have more freedom in generating revenue.

I think school systems will be forced to use learn at home programs. Greenfield MA is the source of one such program serving the entire state of MA. They provide the books and a computer if needed to the student at home. It's actually a good thing for many inner city children whose school day was more about survival then learning Overhead of such a program is much lower and one teacher can supervise much larger groups. Children interact with teacher and other students via online.

Get rid of the violence and corruption in the entire city of Reading and just maybe it might be a better place to live. Growing up, there was at least a dozen shootings or acts of violence being reported on a daily basis on the news. THAT...is the real problem. Poorest city in America? Yet they can afford Assault Rifles and Pistols to kill people with? What's the problem here? This city needs an army to uphold the peace since there is none there.

Reading School District hadnt raised taxes in 10 years which is great until they got into the spot they are in now. Incidentally the enrollment dropped off 5% but the administration grew there. The Administration was also cited for spending lavish amounts on themselves. Could the situation have been avoided possibly, we will never know now.

I have some ideas. Privatize the school system. Seek corporate and or business sponsorship. This could be accomplished by allowing advertisements in schools, or contract out the lunchroom to businesses, like McDonalds. For more information, see the video: "Free to Choose Part 6"

yeah tomas Lopez is telling the truth I know him he's a friend of mine and she probably did pick the worst of all reading school cause all reading school do not look like that because some actually look better than that and when there's a problem they fix it in 1 weeks tops

Private schools pay their teachers a lot less money. Private schools can deny access to students they don't want.
