Thanks for the comments. The reason I started this and have tried to
explain things in an understandable way is that I enjoy helping others
achieve their goals in model railroading. I feel that as time goes on we
are losing the creativity that these hobbies can bring. I grew up with a
father that also enjoyed Model railroading and Model Aviation wich in turn,
through the hobby, opened my eyes to carpentry, plumbing and electrical
work. Today it seams that kids just want to play "HALO".

professionally done. I started a new video production company and one of my

Just want you to know that not only did I subscribe to your videos, but I
think your production is extremely helpful and helps to give me additional
ideas. You have a good voice for teaching - which you keep it simple and
slow. For a life time model railroader like me (over 30 years), I have been
learning from your videos and I thank you very much for your work. Keep
them coming!

you really have come a long way in a reasonable short period of time.
definately something I need to remember to look at again when I start on my
own layout. Have you decided on some buildings for your industrial siding
and the rest of the scenery?

Do you notice that the Athearn Genesis Loco's will not start at a crawl. It
seams as if will not start moving from a dead stop until the voltage is
increased and then it starts moving with a sudden surge???????

Its a Sountraxx Tsunami. Turning up the starting voltage in CV2 will get
the loco started at Speed step 1 but by the time it starts it surges ahead
at a 30mph scale speed, It will not start up slow.

The North subdivision will have a hiway overpass over the tracks and over
the river on the other side. There will be a grain facility and an open air

What DCC/Sound decoder is that? You said it's in quiet, so I assume MRC or
Soundtraxx. Usually turning up the CV2 value to get a better start.
