in the Army, it's a type of qualification for Infantryman. Ranger School is
a gung ho advanced infantry course, most infantryman (officer or not) want
to be Ranger qualified. Once qualified they can go into a ranger unit or a
regular infantry unit. Rangers are generally people you don't want to mess
with. If an infantry officer wants to spend his service outside the HQ he
def wants to be Ranger qualified because Infantry Officer Basic won't be
enough to be out with the battalion.
@junior61106 haha everyone i talked to loves that school. Peope who went
there still wish they did. People that dropped out wish they didnt. This
school isnt fit for everyone. I wonder what made it the worst experience of
you life? Its not a party school Yeah you are restricted as a freshman, but
your going into the military for crying out loud. It makes you tough. Dont
tell people not to go there.
@junior61106 You don't talk like a grad of the Citadel nor the military. If
you really did, then quit hiding behind a username. I'm not, this is my
company name, I'm on Face Book, and my life is an open book. My guess is,
you think you are hot shit, but you are really just a cold little turd !
Who has no class :0 )
@nathanLfrabott Ranger Platoon is a "club" that is open to anyone that is
in the Army ROTC program while at Norwich. They meet weekly and
practice/learn tactics and do other things related to Army and Ranger
practices. They also compete in competitions against other ranger platoons
from other schools
@junior61106 Im not hating on the citadel. you jst picked a school that was
just not fit for you. Thats the first ROTC school in america, it produces
generals and has close relations with the NSA. it is in no way a bad school
you make it to be.
Its good to go on youtube and see demos from the past. I'm a cadet at
Norwich right now in Rangers, and being in the demo was wicked fun. I'll
get the video and put it up sometime!
What she is calling Energy Medicine Yoga is actually starting to approach
what in the yogic tradition is called Sahaja or Spontaneous Yoga whereby
Kundalini Shakti has awakened and is actively carrying out all the
necessary processes spontaneously according to the unique karmic blueprint
of the seeker. This process covers all yogas both in and out of meditation,
including mudras, kriyas, mantras, asanas, blockage releases, etc. I say
her method approaches this Maha Siddha Yoga because it is still in the
realm of doership, and I would liken to reaching around in the dark, when
compared to the Intelligence of Shakti and the freedom of Shakti to bring
the sadhak to Realization in the quickest, most direct, route possible. It
is truly the lightning bolt path, and also the razor's edge. It is
certainly not for everyone, nor will it call everyone. But for those who
are called to it, and who dedicate themselves to the regular sadhana of
surrender to Shakti, there is no more natural or effective path. And given
that each soul's unfolding is unique, any imposed system and without
Kundalini awakening, will necessarily fall well short of the mark. But it
is at least pointing in the right direction, and I suspect that as we
progress collectively, the spiritual process will come to follow this form
of Surrender Yoga more and more, until it is simply common place that
Shakti Ma is actively awake and running the show.
Thanks for the reply! 1st time talking to someone "across the pond"!
Ontario has a large number of towns with English counterparts. I guess our
forefathers brought the old country with them! One cool example is
Yorkshire has Whitby and Scarborough on the North sea with the bluffs and
all, we have Whitby and Scarborough with the bluffs on the shore of Lake
Ontario- about the same distance apart as the originals! I would love to
see the originals as I have English roots on both sides. Terrah
I live in Norwich and have done for 28 years.(since i was born) I wouldnt
move anywhere else.. So close to the countryside and city at the same
time.. a train journey from anywhere else in England.. one of the most
historic citys in the world.. we have the Norfolk Broads close by too.. not
overcrowded and a very tidy city... I actually clean most of those roads
every day in my path sweeping machine as i work for the council..
I loved living in Norwich. Eateries . . . Reggies Pie and Pea stall in the
Market, Pinoccio's . . . Miss that, The Waffle House. I left when the curry
wars were on in '96. We used to go the the Bombay on Timber Hill twice a
week. I miss our local too, the coach and horses on Thorpe Road. I also
miss the Theatre Royal, it was superb after the refit and we saw many great
shos there . . . maybe one day I'll go back too!
To truly appreciate I had to leave it. I grew up there, lived in St.
Gregory's Alley too. I used to think that its isolation was a bad thing,
yet in hindsight it has preserved an excellent place. Make sure you go to
Magdellen Street and Duke Street, forget the malls, London Street and all
around that area, excellent, lovely. Love Norwich. And don't forget to
visit the Adam and Eve for a drink.
@andrewbobbin I am currently in Norwich and did spend an entire year here.
However I see things a bit differently and will be glad to be somewhere
else. BTW, I am glad to say that your colleagues in refuse removal actually
emptied my grey bin yesterday for the first time in over a month. They were
not due on Saturday so it is a good job I did not move the bin back into
the front garden!
@Poggylot Fantastic . . . It was our fave restaurant by half . . . we
always had great food and a warm welcome. I remeber eating there during a
thunderstorm in the summer of '95. The atmosphere was great. Hope it's as
good today. Was looking at it on Google streetwise the other week and was
glad to see it's still there.
Well I came to live in Norwich from London and i can tell you it must be
one of the safest cities in England.Plus it has some great historic
buildings notto mention the new forum There are always new buildings going
up and Norwich can only get better. So thoseofyouwho don'tlive here are
unlucky I say......
URGH it really annoys me when people describe Norwich as a town!! We are a
CITY!!!! Don't worry about getting stared at for being black, we have
plenty of black people around - though not as many as a lot of other places
- but us Norfolkians have been described as the nicest people in the
country :D
I live in Norwich and have lived here since 1995. I am a country girl, as I
was born near the coast and lived near Swaffham. As far as, cities go,
Norwich is the best city I have ever been in and seeing from somebody
else's view how wonderful it is to live in Norwich.
Come on come back. Cromer is lovely as is Weybourne and Sheringham. The
ship in Weybourne is one of my favourite Pubs. Il buy you TWO drinks AND a
bag of chips, can't say fairer than that. Let it never be said Andy doesn't
know how to treat a lady. :)
I studied there - for 3 months in summer 1983. I liked this city and it is
a pleasure to see the streets, the shops, etc once again. I looked for
"Norwich" in YOUTUBE and I'm glad to have found this video. Thank you very
much for posting it.
I spent a year in Norwich and although every weekend but perhaps four I
went somewhere I still feel as though I did not use my time wisely and
could have seen much more than I did! I will put some more pictures up in
the future.
i live in norwich. is alrite. at 37 secs the building and the ground
underneath is on the wonk, because bodies were buried there upright, during
the plague!! is why that area is called Tomb land. interesting fact of the
day. lol
I going to pay a visit then. It's not safe in London and i just want a bit
of peace. Is there direct trains from London to Norwich? It would be nice
to go away for a few days before the start of uni. Do you live in Norwich?
A friend of mine ( you tuber like me), told me about your video, cause she
lives nearby, so I watched it and liked a lot!!! thanks for posting it!!
Greetings from Mèxico. ( I speak spanish, sorry for my english) ;).
I was born in Norwich and lived most my life there, I live in London now
and while I love London I still miss Norwich alot, it's a great City to
live in and I intend to move back there in the future. Great pictures!
@NerfTwins1337 I have certainly been through the railway station although
the name did not mean anything to me! I know where Brundall is - just south
of Blofield. I have filmed a lot of the Broads on this channel!
22 years in Norwich and I'm bored of it. ;)Least this video didn't
glamourise the city or put it down in any way. Shown exactly as is. Well
apart from the Market is sorted out now. Good ole' Naaaarwich.
in the about the vid section u describe it as a 'county town' its actually
a city, and the capital of the east of england, and the second biggest
financial city after the city of london - gud vid tho
I love Norwich too! I performed at the theater festival with a burlesque
troupe and the people and place were fabulous!! However, it was early
Spring and dethly cold!! I still dug the hell out of it!
Norwich is a great city and I have always felt safe walking the streets at
any time of day. It is a lot like Amsterdam in that it is a great place to
sit with a beer and watch the world go by.
I was a bit bored by it but having lived in capitals - London, Paris,
Madrid, Warsaw and Moscow - it was a bit of a come down. But now I have
left, sometimes I miss it (but not often).
The road sign - Norwich - A Fine City!! I thought it a bit of joke the
first time I saw it! I remember the one about 'I have been looking for you
all over Milton Keynes.....'!!!!!!!!!
Cheers, thats all i want to hear you know not people dissing me and calling
me names like gigantic peach. I'm a peaceful guy and i love peaceful
places. I hope Norwich is like that.
Second biggest financial centre in the UK - are you sure? Norwich was the
third largest city in the British Isles at the time of the Norman Conquest
but that was a while ago now...
This has made me realise what I am missing .. or missed. I knew nothing of
the curry wars nor the the Pie and Pea stall. Maybe I ought to go back... I
still have a house there!!!!
@alanheath Refuse isnt part of the council anymore its done by a different
company called veolia.. they do it once a fortnight plus they get behind
due to christmas and new year
I am mexican and I have been studing in UEA for a year now.. all I can say
is that I love Norwich, it is a great place and I will really miss it a lot
when I get back home.
Nicest people in the country? Only? As can be seen by the amount of my
films I have been around a bit. I have never met people as friendly as in
Norwich ... anywhere.
Come back Katelyn!!! I wanted to leave Norwich then i wanted to come back.
Now im back in Norwich i'm happy again. I love the place!! Il buy you a
drink!!!!! Andy!!!!
I'm from London and i was just wondering if there is lack people in
Norwich? i would like to visit the place one day but dont wanabe stared at
coz of my skin colour.

Yeah, I forgot how much I loved it. Your vid has just inspired me to go
down to Waitrose and get a tin of the powdered stuff (much more potent than
the paste). Health benefits of same are pretty good too!
+Jack Shepherdson I get the whole legendary appeal to the films but they just don't hold up anymore, campy and boring but people grew up with them so are in it for that, I don't find any of the SW films to be good but if I had to chose to watch one it'd be a prequel.
ill be honest, mate. nothing really matters outside of the movies. rebels, clone wars and all that shit pales massively in comparison to the films, let alone to the original trilogy. your right, to each their own. but the casting is perfect. theres not one other actor i could think of from the time to replace any of the actors in the final cut, right down to Peter Cushing's Grand Moff Tarkin. yes, when compared to modern action and scifi films the acting isnt anywhere near as good. but for the time, it was other worldy. just like the films themselves.
+Jack Shepherdson Yes and I liked them villians, shame Maul was wasted and Grievous died so easily but the movies weren't the only things those characters were in, I don't get any emotion from the originals either due to the woeful acting and bad cast but each to their own.
darth maul was embarrassingly underused, dokuu was crushingly boring and general grevious was a coughing alien robot who was killed before he could embarrass himself further. really? the fights were only there cause they had to have a fight. there was no underlying emotion of the fights like in the originals.
