These are very mild. Americans are actually better at avoiding accidents
than other countries. Just watch drivers in Russia or Japan. it is brutal
over there. I know we have bad accidents in the states, but nothing near
the volume or volatile of other places.
+John Greeneyes seems like a lot are more apt to hitting the brake before hitting their horn in the USA ones compared to the Russian ones where they lay on the horn while still going full speed into an accident they could avoid easily. Thats just an observation from the youtube vids only not saying the United States doesnt have morons on the road either.
It's always a good time when they try and aggressively pass you for only doing 10 over the speed limit, only to pick the wrong lane and get stuck behind a ton of slow cars and red lights as they become a speck in your rearview mirror :)
+MrOrthogonalization As a woman myself, I actually agree to an extent. The most aggressive drivers I've seen were a mom with her tween daughter who gestured at me, a teenage girl, and a teenage boy. A lot of young women seem to have short fuses in my opinion.
+Jurgen Heinrich No, it's definitely aggression. I have a lead foot myself, but I'm constantly finding young women tailgating me. You can usually spot them easily by their giant "Jackie O" sunglasses. I really should install a rear-view camera in my car.
+Jurgen Heinrich Haha, I get what you're saying, even as a female myself! I feel like I'm one of the very few that uses my mirrors and checks my blind spots. Ironically though, I was run off the road by an idiot teenage boy who didn't check his mirrors and swerved into my lane while he was racing someone. He promptly sped off faster once my vehicle left the roadway. Thankfully he didn't hit me (I still to this day don't know how).
+VIDSBYPB Women in general. They might not be that aggressive, but checking blind spots and mirrors just isn't something they do. Oh if I had a quarter for every time a female driver forced out of a lane when I was on my bike....
+YU TIAN I've noticed it too, and especially more so with the bigger trucks like Dodge Rams, Chevy Silverados, Ford F-150/F-250/F-350s, etc. than the smaller ones. But it's funny, in my experience they are either slow grandpa drivers that hog the left lane going 10+ miles under the speed limit or extremely aggressive and speeding 10+ miles over the limit, and no in between.
+VIDSBYPB Haha, I am a 21-year-old woman who drives a Ford Escape and I'd like to think I'm not too aggressive. I'm actually really cautious. But I definitely get what you're talking about!
+YU TIAN Yes..pickup drivers, SUV drivers, truck drivers, sedan drivers, coupe drivers, BMW drivers, Honda drivers, Chevy drivers, women drivers, man drivers...wait...all drivers just suck in general!
