As much as a lot of this makes sense, I can't personally rule out the amazing supernatural events of true spirituality, like the NDE also personal miracles that have happened in my life. Truly the catholic religion took much of its' religion from sun religions. But the Higher aspect of the Eternal Mind the Love & Light of the creative intelligence begin all of this that can creative fingers, eyes, ears, a mind that can perceive mysteries like flowers growing into colors and scents for me is more then myth and more like magic. Nice history lesson, and a theory to contemplate. However, I have yet to find any of you who can explain the gift of the Holy Spirit. You can rationalize and justify, in an attempt to discredit the Spirit of God. However, you cannot remove the gift I received in my soul, and the Faith in my heart. Believe what you will. What I don't understand is this: all these ancient religions , most, had some kind of myth about a dying god coming back to life in some form, and no doubt they gleaned that idea from their agriculture. Israel wandered around, or was enslaved, and with some pleasant interruptions, were occupied by Rome during Christ-their religion had no trace of this kind of myth. Jesus turns water to wine, seed to bread, fish to more fish-all natural processes sped up. Then at the last supper, he says the bread is his body (wine is his blood) and that it must be broken, but he would rise again. It's just plucked out of nowhere, and no one even mentions a similarity, and seem to have no idea what's being indicated. That's a big difference, because we can trace Jesus under a named roman magistrate and a census-his death and his birth, unlike the myths which have no apparent historicity as far as actual people or places.

what does zeitgeist have planned for the pedophiles and child molesters and child rapists? i was starting to respect you guys but zeitgeist is a hiding place for pedophiles and child molesters. if the zeitgeist movement was for killing pedophiles and child molesters and child rapists then i would be on board. i no longer wish to listen to you. zeitgeist is fucked up.

It has been in their own languages for many, many generations. To the Indian, 'American Indian' is not only non-derogatory, but shows respect and honer.

Humans often want answers or a resin why everything exists, why people die and what happens to people after death. Or you just want the answer to why it rains. And when science barely existed it was easy to say that this happened because we have sinned and need to be forgiven by God. Me myself are atheist but I still understand why people believe in a higher power.
