These commercials aired on TNT on October 21st, 1994 1. "100% Weird" Intro/Commercial Bumper 2. Promo for "The Magnificent Seven", "The Shadow Riders", ...
It was an offshoot of MonsterVision that showed cheesy B movies. Don't know about the others but the bumpers should have clearly indicated that these ads were from an airing of "The Neanderthal Man"
Loved watching these commercials! The local ones were from my neck of the
woods, and they remind me of how much smaller and simpler this city used to
be before trying to become a metropolis tourist trap...
The only commercial I remember is the second ICS one.
I remember "Lakota Woman"--a TV movie about the siege at Wounded Knee in
the '70s starring Irene Bedard who gave a great performance, IIRC. Lost the
Golden Globe nomination, though...Anyway, it's weird seeing it put right in
the middle of two westerns.
Ah, yes--the country music craze. In the midst of all this '90s nostalgia,
I'm glad that hasn't come back.
Hillard Lyons is for investment baking. I hate those Mystery Commercials
too.
Oh, I know how big he was back then, trust me! It just wasn't my thing.Just noticed the typo in my post-wonder what investment baking would look like. :)
Oh how I miss TNT during this time; so freakin' nostalgic.
I always remember those Cartoon Network bumpers, but my area didn't get
that channel until 1999.
