Focus on the process and the result will come. Another thing that helps is re-framing anxiety as excitement

How I overcame all my fear and anxiety: stopped caring about life

I was chosen to speak along side one of my fellow students at our graduation. We wrote a speech that we sort of switched back and forth between, he had the final line, it was supposed to be a big moment where he ended it and like "HURRAH" fist in the air, everyone claps, leave stage smiling, etc. He said the last line and it got NNNNNNNNNOOOTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHINNNNNNNGGGGGGGG from the crowd, it was so fucking awkward, I had to bring up my hands into a clapping motion to kind of signal to the crowd it was over. But it felt kind of good when it was over, the moments that actually worked were kind of nice to deliver, I even got a few compliments when it was over. And even though it was my classmate that got the fucking tumble weed of a last line, I was up there with him too, I felt the awkwardness too, and afterwards I realize, well, I felt what everyone worries about, I felt that moment of "the whole crowed thinks that you kind of suck" and there is literally nowhere else to go but up. It was kind of freeing, terrible, but freeing.

Am I the only one who gets far more entertainment out of watching a live performance go horribly wrong?

Just remember that all those people watching you have sweaty naked sex with their crotches grinding together, and that they all take shits just like the rest of us. Suddenly you stop caring what they even think, then it's more like just explaining things to yourself ;-P

Take 2-4 shots before speaking. Get a little buzz going and you won't be nervous to speak at all, and your mind will still be there.

sometimes with the old version of scratchlive i use one turntable to control both decks and i toggle back and forth between them. with the ability now to mix 3 decks (or even four) will i still be able to do this? i can have two decks running internally and one i control via vinyl, or maybe 2 i control via vinyl while one runs internally, or even that extra one running the bridge/ableton once its compatible with 2.0.
