The fuel guage will go past full when there is an open circut. This could mean that the wire to the sender of that tank is bad, the sender is bad, a bad ground on that tank, or your switch is bad. I will be posting a video on replacing this switch soon.

I have this same thing in my GMC so I just flip the switch and there's more fuel. I don't get it I have two tanks on my truck
