No, I did not. I wasn't really looking for power gains from the pipe -- got it mostly just for the sound and the fact that the stock muffler is huge, heavy, way too shiny (for me), and I like the looks of the TBR pipe alot more than the stock one. Since I don't race my SV, it isn't worth it to me to shell out the money for the PC just to get an extra horsepower or two.

@JNManix I have a two bros on my sv650 and people can hear me coming from half a mile away. No joke, i take my bike to school in good weather, and park under the building where i have class. My professor on the 7th floor can hear me park my bike, and marks me present for the day. He's a SV fanatic too - and after hearing my pipe, he bought one as well for his SV.

Sound in video is pretty close, if anything it sounds a bit deeper in person. They do offer a "straight through sound suppressor" tip, but you have to buy it seperately. I have one, but it is *not* in for this video. It makes it a little quieter, but mostly seems to cut out alot of the 'deep' lower end sound.

I've spent hours reading up on exhausts and watching videos. After seeing this, I know that I want the two brothers. Thanks! I'm just wondering...does it come with a db killer/silencer if I'd ever need to use it? And also, how close to the vid would you say that it sounds?

Glad you liked the video, and that it helped you out choosing your exhaust. Not sure what that guys deal was. After I packed up my camera and was getting ready to leave he drove over and asked me if the bike was new, what kind it was etc.

Very nice vid mate. Got realy sick of everyone posting up Two Brothers sounds with poor sound quality just revving their engine. Nice to see someone actually take it through the motions. Good Work.

I have the same pipe in carbon fiber on my 06sv650. You're right the stock pipe sounds too much like a lawnmower! My friend has a yoshi on his sv but I think the two bros sounds much better.

The internal construction of the titanium and carbon fiber slip-ons are identical, the only difference is the shell -- so whichever one you think looks better :-)

Probably not since it is just a slip-on and not a full system. But at least it sounds like a motorcycle now instead of a lawn mower.

Fastest I've had my 06 SV650 was 140mph indicated, but that's really pushing it on a long, long straight.
