As far as Jade Helms is concerned, it actually sounds kind of stupid to me. It sounds like some high end computer software company convinced the Dept of Defense that this is the futuristic way of predicting and handling military and law enforcement incidents. They use loads of fancy technical terms, probably mixed in with complicated sounding psychology terms (most of which are bogus) where they convinced the Pentagon to pay them $100 million to devise computer software to run these bogus Jade Helm tests. One powerful lesson I think we all learned during the Cold War, was that all sorts of defense contractors used to love to come up with supposedly "new and better" weapons systems, many of which were a complete waste of money. How we counter that is by passing a new law that forbids this. If Congress is too busy to pass a law forbidding computer controlled firepower to avoid a chain of command, then we write that new law, and any citizen can actually file suit to implement that new law. It would be a federal lawsuit asking the court to deem existing law unconstitutional because it fails to include these safeguards, and to amend existing law to add those new safeguards. If someone can put some money up for the lawsuit, i will go ahead and file it in federal court. :)
