when you use the launch control does your a/f go lean on your wideband? I just got the bee r and want to know if that's normal?

+Jay Murray yeah the wiring instructions in the manual didn't match up for mine. had to play around with it and got it to work, finally. worth it though

+dawaynereeds81 it's all good. thanks though. my 87 supra wouldn't work with it connected to NE and the IGF but for some reason i happened to just be playing with it and connected the wires to the igt and the igf and it works. it's so weird.

is the bee r spliced into the harness or is the bee r connected to ecu side of the plug and the chassis side of the the wires taped off?

anyway you still remember how you hooked it up the yellow and green wire ? mine works but it does not bounce as fast and the rpm gauge goes to 0 when the cut engages

the instructions are below in one of my comments. when I did this test I was probably about 25% throttle and that's why it cuts fast. when I have it pegged it's drastically slower; kinda like what you're feeling. also when it cut the tach would hit zero as well. same syptoms so I'd assume what you're experiencing is normal.

im having problem in my 88 supra 7mgte, it wont rev past 2k rpm no matter what position the knobs are. I need help.

Check wiring. It's either that or the unit is faulty. I got a bad one from eBay before this one and it worked intermittently and at random settings.

There's two settings. One you can set for the stock Rev limiter and the other you can set to build boost from a dead stop to give you more power for a launch.

ok,i dnt wana sound like i'm dissin anyone but traction technically slows u down if ur tryna get off the line quick..having it off is the best way to get the max amount of speed off the line..n before anyone tries to diss me, i know this from years of race track experience..

my two favorite affordable supercars. But now that I can legally get a jdm supra and for half the price of a 350z i've made my choice haha. 60hp less and still wins, 2jz is more reliable than the vq35 as well especially if its a non turbo

Really guys? I own a NA Supra and love it but the Z's are fast too. If you listen the Z owner said his TC was off so he didnt hook. Thats why the supra won. Personally I like the 300zx over the 350 or 370 anyday.

Supra the best... I have 1999 JDM NA Supra 2JZ-GE, i dont know why, but from 5500 to 6500RPM you can feel the real power punch, it`s feel like VTEC...
