Casual Shoes For Street Style
Casual Shoes are the topic. What casual shoes are best for men? This weeks Morts & More Moment looks at what casual shoes to take to uni that look good as ...
As soon as I saw the video title I thought dark brown or burgundy brogues.
As far as versatility with jeans, chinos, and possibly (more casual) suits,
dark brown shoes are the way to go.
It was such an amazing feeling getting a reply from you guys, in video! I
really appreciate the effort!
Yes I feel like brown is one of the most versatile colours for leather
shoes. It goes well with jeans, navy, grey pants you name it. I'll probably
get a brown monk shoe or a brogue, these styles work with casual and little
more formal wear, I'll always have my black oxfords for formal attire
though.
I completely agree with what was said in the video, and it helped me
confirm my decisions and be confident about it.
As for pitti, it has to do a lot with personal style like you said, I'll
wait until then and see what I like!
Thank you gentlemen,
I hope this video helps out answering a lot of peeps as well!
If you don't mind, you guys can check out my personal blog

once again :)
+Mandeep Baweja I agree with Doomsterlobster, I feel like brown is easier to match than black. I own a pair of black brogues and I don't think it is as versatile as brown (for my personal style at least). I use black brogues for more of a rockstar look, like how people wear Dr.Martins, or a "businessy" kind of look.Do you have a portfolio of your personal style or anything like that, I'm interested to see you guys personal take on style.
+Mandeep Baweja In what sense is black "best" for both casual and formal occasions, exactly? Very hard to match, very little room for nuances (you could say there are different textures and stages of polish, but the versatility is illusory since you can't actually wear mirror polish casually or suede formally), and every styleless schmuck has a pair.Black can work for some very specific, wannabe rock star or fashion-forward looks, but its application is much more limited. As for brown shoes, you can even give your dark brown or burgundy wholecuts/oxfords a mirror polish and rock them with a suit on all but the most formal occasions (which the average guy will never attend).I'd go with a combination of medium brown brogued oxfords, dark brown or cognact suede penny loafers, and maybe some sleeker, more youthful shoe for a third option (burgundy or dark brown chelsea boot?). But that's just my style.
Men's Style / Mint Green Smart Casual / Carl Thompson
This is a men's style outfit video, where I'm styling my Hawkins & Shepherd Mint Shirt in a Smart Casual way in order to show how one shirt can be worn in two ...
+chin bor The shirt is on the long side, you certainly wouldn't want it any longer. It is a formal shirt designed to be tucked in - however thats why I wore a long cardigan with it. If the cardigan came up much shorter than the shirt - then that wouldn't work. However as the shirt and cardigan are the same length its acceptable :)

Two times you mentioned turtlenecks and yet you didn't mention Archer? I
know it's a cartoon but he does dress in suits and the occasional
turtleneck.
