Oh Scotty, you've summed up pretty exactly how I feel about this "merging with Skype" nonsense. I only talk to one friend, who lives in another state and I can't talk to her in person. I've used MSN to talk to her, and we're both reluctant to switch to Skype just 'cause of the font problem, the way it saves history (I HATE the "endless stream of text" you've mentioned) and the overall Skype interface... it's terrible. I'm glad I see so many others feeling this way about the Skype/MSN nonsense.

I used to use MSN a loooot. But I got Steam, and Skype, and I like them a lot more. Steam wasn't great (it didn't used to show you what you'd previously said if you accidently closed the window) but while I'm playing a game, I don't have to tab out when I'm using Steam and that's why I love it. And Skype is just a better chat system all around, easier video chatting. You don't have custom fonts or custom emoticons, but that's not what Skype is really about I guess.

Yup, you can customize your skype sounds. BTW, if you haven't already, go through whatever browsers you use & disable/delete the "skype browser helper" and "skype click to call" extensions. Also, you probably already know this, but you can indeed force Skype to carry individual conversations in separate windows like MSN does by selecting View\Compact View.

Yeah agree, My friends and i have been forced on to that crap program known as SKYPE, and i must say it totally lacks the features and reliability of MSN, in other words we are looking (with no luck so far) for a decent replacement, why cant they just leave good programs alone?

I used to use the oldest version of MSN, but I swapped to skype like three years before they even thought of shutting it down. Skype confused my balls off at first, especially that shitty options menu, but now I've got it. Somewhat.

I used to adore MSN but when everyone else stopped using it I switched over to Steam chat and occasionally Skype, like you say my life won't change with it ending but I still have many fond memories!

I used to be a massive user of MSN around 2001-2003 (my last years at school, before Uni). Almost everyone I knew had it, and I also chatted to random people from Scandinavia too.

You could try Google Talk. Probably the most functional IM client I've ever used. Also it's easier to change the font than Skype.

How would internet predators result from this? You don't meet up with a "20 year old sexy blonde" whe your 10 years old anyways. Also the title says she found them chatting when the girl said they weren't. Also she said they made changes to their browser. If your desperate you can just reinstall the browser. to hide porn sites real good here is what u need 2 do : 1.Clear all things that you watched not al the history !!!!!!!!! 2.The cash . You go on google , type the name of the site and in the search box it should be a remove button. Guess what u have to do with tha button :D AND NOW YOUR PARENTS WON'T CATCH U (they can if u watch porn and they enter the room and u are not fast to close the laptop/phone/computer :D )

Masturbation actually is healthy. It helps relieve stress and rejuvenates the body. It simply feels good. It may sound disgusting to some parents, but as long as it is kept private, why feel bothered by it? I do realize they are a bit young, and they probably should at least know what they are watching before viewing it. I truthfully think that masturbation should be looked upon better than how it is.

People who want to fly, remember it is stil "only" 5.1 times as dense as air. It is still 200 time less dense as water. It will only carry ligth boats made of thin foil like this. If you want to make a craft that can sail it, you migth as well just make a helium ballon to start with.

the gas is more dense than air so it supports the boat and when you scoop teh gas it sinks into the bottom of teh aluminum boat. making it "sink"

Think about it now though, water is about 800 times more dense than oxygen, while this stuff is about 5.1 times. Swimming would be pretty hard.

Wow the first accident happened to me to! Of course I didn't have as much weight on there but still I fell straight back and was able to get my right arm out but my left arm was still on the bar and when my elbow hit the ground the weight pulled my rist back tearing almost all the ligiments in my rist! Yep FUN STUFF ALRIGHT!!!
