KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD | Road Trip to LA Part 3
In this DITLO*, we go hiking with the puppies, Warden, Layla, & Miko, and we eat some really good food at Gourdough's and Hopdoddy, among other things.
Hey Nick, what is the name of that waterfall that's at the beginning of
this vlog? I live in Bryan, Texas and have been to Austin but never saw
one. The only place where we found a small waterfall was Pedernales Falls.
The Westchester Library System (WLS) recently held its 11th annual African American Writers & Readers Literary Tea on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The event ...
I love love you as an author. I love all of your material. Thank you so

BAR FIRE | Road Trip to LA Part 4
In this DITLO*, we get to see more of Austin, and Alli Speed basically suggests we die in a fire. Alli - //www.youtube.com/alli *DITLO stands for Day In The ...
Lots of messages or symbolism happening in this DITLO. Like the RAINEY ST
sign with rainclouds, the two-tiered fire, the message about love painted
on the wall, sunflowers, BROKEN SPOKE, and the man with the sign OUR DAYS
ARE NUMBERED. Fortunately, most of us don't know our number. All
interspersed with a celebration of food, drink, music & people we're fond
of. Next: California & our favorite talking dog. Sometimes you make better
videos, I think, than anyone could intentionally. You go out, and things
appear, though of course, a lot of thought, art & skill go into the
editing.
+shayne santos Exactly, that's why the video includes all the things I listed and more. Presumably, the more footage taken, the more challenging it is to decide what to include & how & where, but also potentially the more excellent the results.
I agree. Some people think that Youtube vlogging is not a real job. Good video editing alone requires a lot of skills and thought as you mentioned. Nick's camera work and editing have been getting better and better. But editing can only be as good as the quality of footage an editor has. So I would say that Nick also has a good eye in capturing what's potentially useful. I noticed that he doesn't only point his cameras at himself and the people he's with but also at seemingly mundane stuff around him, which when edited and inserted with background music suddenly becomes interesting, and at times even hilarious.
