Hey guys this is my selfmade remake of Universe by Xilent ft shaz sparks ... I made everything my self ... But i just made the main part ... without the wobbles and ...
You did a way better job than I could have at creating the sound. My only
only suggestion is to sidechain it from the snare as well. It seems like on
that track xilent does both. Group your snare and kick then sidechain with
a little bit more release, low attack, and a low threshold. So the sound
kicks in right after the kick. Im just sad because I use ableton and dont
have access to the FL built in plugins :/ lol
yeah exactly ... you can really hear it in his songs .. i hear it too and
made that sidechain (btw) only on kick .. yeah u cant here it in my song
... maybe its just too low dont know .. but i should do it better next time
.. ty 4 the comment
Ok... i listened to it ... the beginning is really hard and the dubstep
parts too .. but the drop is possible for me I think :D:D ... but doing
remakes of xilent is kinda hard bro ... lets see.. ill send you a message
if i got it ;)
coming soon ... hadnt time yet to upload it sry ... .. usually i waited
until guys write that like u :D gonna upload it tommorow or today if i find
time !
Song: Universe Artist: Xilent (ft Shaz Sparks) My first nightstep! Requested by Alexis Silva. I hope you like the audio spectrum, I'll be using it for future nightstep ...
Xilent returns to UKF, this time with D&B! Featuring melodic synths on the build up, which drops into a seriously bass-heavy D&B banger! Released 15 October ...
+FrictionBassIgnition Doing it manually could produce better results, or if you don't know what you're doing it will be a train wreck. I agree though the phaser just ties the whole think together. You can't teach creativity.
+Melophobia I think what +Luke Martin means is adjust the volume of each element when they are triggered, ie when the synths play lower the bass and vice versa (so pretty much sidechain). Thats what I would do anyway. On a positive note though. The use of the phaser (i think) to create that pitch bend effect at the start of the drop is fucking genius.
+Luke Martin A compressor can act as automatic volume automation, keeping it the same volume throughout and they usually EQ each different sound in a certain way as well as adding slight EQ boosts and cuts to the final mix.
+FrictionBassIgnition Yeah, that's very true. I love Xilent's music but his mixing REALLY needs some work. A lot of artists could really benefit from just not using compressors at all and having to learn to mix with just EQ and volume automation, I think, 'cause it always gives a much cleaner mix if it's done right.
All you people complaining about how you don't appreciate the new tracks
from this unique and inspiring dj - seriously shut the fuck up and enjoy
this shit or else go listen to some other people. Respect for that
phenomenal dj, he does what he likes and you people can not pressurize him
for not producing "the same" kind of music everytime he releases a new
track.
+Osman Mirza Demircan I don't get why ppl get so mad over artists trying out different genres anyways because it's giving them more diversity in there music, especially when the songs come out beautifully ;)
+Danny Bate Alex Gaertner's track sounds nothing like this, its just a coincidence that they have similar titles and are in the same key. Also this would prob play alright on a DAW because Seven Lions bounces everything to Audio :D
+Danny Bate Yes, he is The Champ I can't get enough of him. I like to come home from school jump into the Devil's Den get comfortable and switch to Channel 42 so I can watch my favourite show Push & Rise which teaches me more about Animal Rights
Hey Xilent. You NEED to make more electro because that electro part in this
track is one of the most unique and badass styles of electro I've ever
heard.
