@cool5tuff well you can supp it up.. At least I know that the 90mm EDFs now can match a P20 at less than 1/3 of the price with also great sound(ok it's not a turbine) Actually I'm building one now so for us poor guys the turbine is not an otpion but at least I can get the performance out of it

@cool5tuff way more speed my ass. the turbine powered one is overweight. The electric one is just as fast stock and even faster if you wanna go that route. In larger jets yes turbine is faster but the p20 and kolibri turbines are weaksauce.

@pyy1axs Yes, I was there at Lakeland, Florida observing the professional keenness of all those pilots. On opening day, average wind gusts were like 35 - 40 m.p.h. and despite that, all the planes navigated with relative ease.

I don't understand why the p20 is more than the p100 or p60 or p80 I couldn't see spending that much for a smaller jet just build a larger jet for same price?

@pavcon heh.... i could never afford a turbine, i just like to watch them. i'm just a 15 year old nerd who is better at flying edfs than trainers.

Always thought the wheels might be too small for grass, but seems it works. Hope with mine EDF-Version too....

Is it really worth the trouble?? 1st the cost 2nd any speed gains more than an EDF? 3rd flying time ???

What kind of heatsink are you getting for the motor? I'm thinking of getting 2 lipos as well.

@phatty910 I added the headspeed calc that I use to the description. I should be at about 3500rpms at full throttle on a fresh battery, so around 2500-3000rpm's the majority of the time. I haven't timed my flights yet, I have two of the Turnigy packs and have only done 1 battery cycle on each getting the heli dialed in. After they get broken in a bit more I'll see how long I can push them.

After quitting for over 4 month, I discovered this video on Malachick. A lot of my friends have been asking me to come back to the sniping community but I just haven't has the time and patience to come back.
