+Bradley Rhodes I mean, the Wedge isn't terrible in the dark, with a bit of brightness / contrast adjustment in Adobe Premiere or something else, you'd be able to salvage it. Just out the box, the G1W is far better

+Yardeski I have seen you're instagram video with the G1W clip and it looked good but it does seem quite big which is why I looked at the wedge because of how small it is and hardly noticeable. Cheers for the info shall soon be getting one.

+Bradley Rhodes THe one I've got at the minute is a ‘Wedge’ A118 / B40 Dashcam. Currently around 43 GBP on eBay UK. Previously had a Eprance G1W (currently around 50 GBP - eBay UK also). Now, for the price, don't get me wrong, the A118 wedge is pretty damn good, but the G1W is far better picture quality wise. During the day, they're pretty much on par with each other, but when it comes to night, the G1W is far far superior. BUT, when it comes to form factor, the G1W is far larger and has a much more cumbersome mount than the A118 Wedge, so the Wedge is far more discrete. In all honestly, I'm thinking of going back to a G1W. I only switched because my G1W went faulty. If I can find a more streamlined way to mount it, I'd never have considered anything other than the G1W. It's just the better camera quality imo.

+Samaldoful Thanks! It's one of those things that I thought "Do I? Don't I?" for a long time. I always wanted to do Gold wheels on my last car, and always regretted not doing it in the end, and this time, I just thought, "Ah sod it, let's do it!", and never looked back!

Not sure I agree, there's some far far better RS's out there than mine, but for now, I'll take it! ;) Just wait until you see what I've got planned video wise for the summer. I'm in the lucky position of knowing a lot of people with some ridiculously tuned and looking RS's, and looking to feature them all soon!
