+Earl HayesNow I understand. Back in the Super Stock days it was common to convert non-current models to current ones. I remember an article in Hot Rod about converting a 68 Camaro into a 69. It was quite involved but I guess less expensive than starting over.

Because it is actually a 66 that was converted to a 67.

Those things have hundreds of feet of wiring.My dad has a '57 that he wants to restore some time.He bought it in 1984.Paid only $1500 at the time.
