Noel Gallagher on Why Oasis Split Up
While speaking about his new album, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Noel Gallagher finally explains exactly how and why Oasis broke up, and reveals the ...
It sounds like the whole thing was unnecessary.
There should have been no issue with Liam promoting his clothes in the tour
programme.
Noel actually sounds like a bit of a dick for saying no.
+ufewl It doesn't matter what you think of his clothing. I think it's alright but overpriced. But it's his band as much as Noels.Frankly, I'd let a session musician advertise in a tour programme.
+ufewl the band is every fucking bit Liam's as much as it is Noel's. Sorry but people who argue Liam isn't a necessary part of Oasis is out of their mind, just watch the live shows, every bit of fire and passion goes through Liam's presence and vocals. Not arguing Noel isn't needed as well, but without Liam oasis would likely be nowhere near where they got to. If Liam wants to promote clothing in his band just let him do it it's a fucking tour programe get over it
+Yoda on DMT He is basically trying to leech off the success of Oasis, and have you seen Liams clothing? Fucking Horrible, I have seen better on old ladies, and Noels is right he is basically getting free advertising and I doubt noel would want to be associated with the dreary dross liam is flogging , get seen better at oxfam
Noel is so much more talented than Liam, and in my opinion performs the
Oasis songs better on his own than his wreckhead brother ever did. Good
riddance. Such a talent, Noel; such a waste of space, Liam.
To the Noel haters in the comments, if you listen to their last few gigs,
Liam's voice was dying, and Oasis would have finished soon anyway. I love
Oasis, but I think them finishing was for the greater good. 1994-2004 (2006
at a push), they were the best band in the world, but their last few years
were stale, and Noel deserved better, which is why I'm delighted he now has
two fantastic solo albums!
