Whilst I don't agree with everything Anthony Summers writes, for example,
the sheep-dipping of Lee Harvery Oswald as a communist - getting him to
Russia and back, the Mexico City Cuban embassy affair - or the mishandling
of the military autopsy, the "Secret Service" agent on the grassy knoll,
the reversal of JFK's Vietnam policy, could have been accomplished by the
Mafia or the anti-Castro Cuban exiles of JM/WAVE, paradoxically, I do think
that Mr Summers' Kennedy Conspiracy book (aka Not In Your Lifetime) is
still the best single volume text available on this enduring mystery.
Warren, Ball and Liebeler argue that Oswald's act of murder was to serve as
his application for admission to a conspiracy - the one he thought was run
by Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, ie, that Oswald was wildly deluded; for
LBJ years later to hang out the tale of actual Castro sponsorship of that
person, or for John Kerry to do so 2 years ago is quite a departure in
assessments

Superb sound, of a classic, TheRottersClub. Ace. Pity the credits didn't
namecheck all the musicians. Danny Thompson, Jeff Allen, Jim Prime (?). I
know that Max Middleton played keyboards with Martyn too, around this time.
Glorious Fool, Sapphire, and Well Kept Secret are superb albums, and I'll
brook no criticism of anyone who says otherwise!! Not even John himself,
God rest him. KJ.
@OforOboe yes, agree it is a superb performance. re the personnel, I think
you'll find the bass player here is not Danny Thompson , but rather (the
distinctlively orange jumpsuit-clad) Allan Thomson . cheers. (great upload
