On-board camera - Mégane RS 265 Trophy sets new FWD lap record of the Nürburgring
As we reported last week, Renaultsport's newest progeny -- the Mégane RS 265 Trophy -- has broken the lap record set by the Megane R26.R around the ...
Obviously never sat in one, Honda fandoy. Megane III RS is more comfortable
than some normal hatchbacks, and certainly more comfortable than Honda
Civic. You can spec it to get all the luxury you want.. super comfortable
cooler/heated leather seats, sat nav, dual zone climate, etc. Its very
quiet inside and unlike older RS's, it feels very expensive inside. Its
full of high quality soft touch plastic, aluminum, carbon inserts, etc. Its
not just a stripped out hardcore track day car.
No, there's not a lot of understeer, unless you want it. This car will
happily oversteer. But in any road car when you push it to the limit, there
is some understeer, thats how its set. But even with this "safe" oversteer,
it goes around corners as fast as some supercars, how else would it go
around track faster than BMW M3's, 1M's and a lot of other RWD cars with
lot more power...
For your information, Megane III is the most reliable car in its class,
sharing the first spot with BMW 1 and Audi A3, according to GERMAN ADAC.
Keep being an ignorant clueless douche.
And Dekra says the same too. Only new Astra is more reliable in its class
in the last inform. Better than Hondas, Toyotas, BMWs, VW...... Thats the
reality.
Seeing as the standard RS250 apparently produces closer 270hp (198kw) and
360nm that the spec'd 250hp(184kw)/340nm, I wonder what the RS265 REALLY
produces?
Having established records with Mégane R26.R in 2008 and Mégane R.S. Trophy in 2011, the engineers at Renault Sport were not content to rest upon their ...
In preparation for the AOR 2.4 Hours of Nordschleife I took some more time to drive this beast in the Green Hell, here is my fastest lap at the Time Trial ...
Nice work buddy! 6:35 is a strong time, i just think you be in a lot of
curves in a to high gear and you could have even more speed (talking about
5-10 km/h) in some of them and you switch the gears while breaking a little
bit to slow. On the straight you have not the highest speed, too. I think
it´s the way you configurated your setup. Please don´t understand it wrong!
You ´re fast guy, but i think you could do it faster!
Contact me @ PS4 [ Ron_Bellof ] and i can give you some setup-tips for the
Bentley on the Green Hell
Nice Greats ;)
Ps: i Postet my ride to, watch it and you will see, what i mean and that´s
just my fastest recorded time. not my realy fastest. See you
+Iron Real thanks mate and always welcome opinions from other people, I totally know what you mean, as I wrote in the description of the video, the setup was not made for flying laps only, it was mostly focused for longer races, as in that time I was preparing for a 2.4H endurance and I guess my driving style was leaning towards that as well. I saw your lap and great time around Green Hell, really impressed job mate :)
That was awesome! There were a couple times I thought you were going right
off the track with the speed you were carrying, but then you hit the apex
perfectly and keep going... We'll done :-)
+pedroeol where are you from? I saw another one of your videos and you have a strong accent, like me! I'm from Spain myself. Good videos by the way! I I'll watch more when I get the time
