+Sonya CH you know what i hate the most ? tchicking squelching smacking what ever it is called i would kill that person if he eats loudly. you know what i mean ? the tongue sound when you chew your food it is possible to get rid of if the person stops eating and smacking is tungue so roughly over food. I hate my father for that i know he is doing it in purpose but one time i will fucking snap and throw something on him

Since you mentioned pasta, here's a fun fact for you - in Italy, usually one can tell whether you're a foreigner or not by whether or not you use a spoon to swirl your pasta, as Italians don't do that. :) In Israel, slurping even in Asian restaurants is pretty rude and people just don't do it, at all. Though, in general the only Japanese food that seems to be pretty popular here is sushi so it's not like people here get many chances trying noodles.

i think it's important to eat how we want to unless it truly offends someone. At the end of the day, it's all food that will squeeze out of our buttholes in a few hours anyway. That sort of puts things into reality regardless of how much we try to romanticize our daily process.

+tinyhowie Yes, me too. Since I was a child, I was taught it is extremely rude to make any noise when you eat, even when you sip any drink - you should be as quiet as you can, keep your mouth close when chewing and only speak after swallowing whatever you had in your mouth. I used to find it extremely shocking when I first discovered people across the universe have different eating habits, but now, like you, I find it funny. :)

+s luska I was raised educated since a kid not to slurp or make any noise out of your month when eating anything, so you're not suppose to talk while munching, you may speak but finish your mouth full first. It was even in elementary/primary school teaching materials. It's funny when opening up my eyes to foreign cultures lol.

This isn't true. In the west no one cares ex: Cali, NV, Arizona, etc. In the south they make lots of noises when they eat. Its only the north who take offense to slurps, belches, elbows on the tabel etc. East kind of.
