u know i was thinking about that today.I live in little rock, AR on tthe
white side of town. went to the black side yeasterday and i thought man, if
only this side of town could hear this it would help anyone who is
suffering to get through the hard times, black or white. The south is still
segregated, fyi for those up north. and it is segregated in the cities up
north too.but some people have never really seen the ghetto that live in
iowa or something like that. such seperation it breaks my heart
@goodtwitch I hear you all the way... I'm going to Hawaii to work on an
organic farm... I might even get to meet Ram Dass.... I seek joy,
compassion, harmony, balance, and love so hopefully the old saying "seek
and you shall find" holds true... I am looking to find people who know more
than me like Ram Dass, but it's hard... you can tell if someone is a high
being but Ram Dass is just about the only one I really trust and listen to.
There are some others, but I can understand Ram Dass the best.
Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School, saving people,
that is based on the principles of the Universe: 真 Truthfulness 善
Compassion 忍 Forbearance It teaches elevation of one's moral character.
Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. Good people
are being tortured, raped, killed, force-fed, deprived of sleep and have
organs harvested from simply because their spiritual belief. Millions
practitioners were killed by the evil CCP. Faluninfo(.)net
This is a serious question. Ram Dass helped em to see in the darkest part
of my life, light. I saw there was hope for me, there was hope for
everyone, I felt like I finally moved into a place of truth, and that I
would walk that road and never want to lose sight of it. I'm here almost
one year later, and I don't know if I've lost faith. Sometimes I'm on the
brink but I can't feel either way, can anyone relate?
Ram Dass was my spiritual friend and even though I never knew him in person
I loved him dearly. I felt very alone in my spiritual experiences in high
school and college and couldn't discuss them with other people generally.
His books were my friends telling that it was ok, that I was not alone. I
don't think I could have done it without him.
@Punohuspicks As a christian western person who speaks English, Ram Dass
has been a useful teacher at introducing other beliefs in my journey of
spirituality, so there is a need for him. I've never heard of the term east
indian. Is that the same as Indian, or a person from the east of India?
@ppc1989ark Glad you are. There's a scattered community of people out there
who take spirituality seriously. Just read-read-read everything you can get
your hands on, trust your intuition and instincts, pray, meditate and keep
a journal and don't join any cults.
Ram is one of the 60's intellects still left .... some one who u can trust
to tell truths ... that don't want to make money but to help others ....
and share with out hidden agendas.... bless u Ram Dass thank you for ur
sharing
That new Ram Dass CD with DJ Kriece is AMAZING!! I HIGHLY recommend this
album to ANYONE that loves quality music. - mike

Krishna Das Maui Retreat December 2009
Krishna Das talks about Maharaji telling the Westerners to "meditate like Christ" and to lose themselves in love. From the Open Your Heart in Paradise Retreat, ...
I often wonder, do you think that he was saying that he wanted us
"westerners" to become Christians and plug in to our own cultural tradition
instead of becoming Hindus which is the natural urge? Because the natural
thing is to want to celebrate the Hindu tradition since that is where he
came from. I personally could not understand or relate to Christ before
reading and hearing about the stories and life of Maharajji. But it all
does leave one feeling a little confused.
Powerful video!!! At the end I was captivated by Krishna das' song, when it
cut out I found myself standing silently in stillness, slowly I fell into
the love and tears flowed, this video is beautiful! Much love to ram dass,
Krishna das maharaji and all who read this let the warmth in my heart I
feel now fill up your hearts and souls :)
