Thursday Morning in Old Sacramento
A portrait of Old Sacramento, as it wakes up. Near downtown, this area is usually bustling with shops and museums and visitors; I wanted to show the quieter ...
Something a little different: I’ve been traveling to downtown Sacramento
every couple of weeks, and took advantage of the new habitat with a
personal video project. The goal was to show Old Sacramento waking up. What
do you think? Does it work? Let me know in the comments!

Kids At Play Commercial - Family Vacations - Visit California
If you think kids don't get out and play enough, check out our newest family friendly California commercial. For more visit: //bit.ly/VWfMwN California is the ...
Misleading Commercial.
The downfalls to California and it's residents.
1. Job opportunities are limited due to Californias reckless "illegal
harboring" in more than half the entire state.
2. Traffic is a horrible nightmare.
3. Housing costs have skyrocketed.
4. Almost everyone there has some type of attitude, no sight of
hospitality.
5. Everything is spread out, not in comparison to Orlando Florida.
6. State leaders are a joke and the increase of taxes are a total mess.
They tax everything.
7. People are self absorbed, self righteous, talk smack behind your back,
it's so laid back they don't take anything to serious and Healthcare is
also a disaster.
I've lived here in California for over 32 years and worked mostly out of
State. The commercial you just watched isn't factual, especially if you
take out the scenes of the background and take every word spoken literally.
You want to experience the best? Go to Florida, beat the traffic, pay no
state tax, get more for your buck, get treated with respect and experience
the abundance of hospitality
The video is of a nearby secret river that flows to the ocean that I
fish/guide on. As we all know the McCloud hasn't seen a steelhead or salmon
since Shasta Dam was built around 1950. The native Americans who use to
summer (making the trek up from the Sacramento Valley) here in Squaw Valley
subsisted on them back in the day.
Scott River, trib of the Klamath. Steelhead would be more abundant and
bigger except for the tribal nets on the lower river taking any and all
anadromous species for the tribe's cannery.
