i always love listening to horror directors offer their views on life and
movies and this show is a godsend!!! great takes and questions on classic
horror films we all love! Thanks and keep up the great work Mick!
I've just seen your interviews yesterday, and I'm blown away. Not only do
they talk without judgement or fear, they really give intricates parts of
their lives and it really goes beyond any kind of interviews. It's awesome.
Sometimes people see the film industry like magic, but it's not, and it is
really helps seeing people like director talking frankly for us.
Thanks a lot Mick. Please do more!
Mick, you need to know one thing: POST MORTEM fills the hole! It was the
missing puzzle on YouTube. Interviews with great horror makers on one
place. You did some job.. Craven, Carpenter, Englund... Thnx. Hope to see
you again in this part of Europe.
The incomparable filmmaker and commercial director Joe Pytka, talks with photographer and filmmaker Brady Fontenot about his work and about being a 2011 ...
Joe's work on FREE AS A BIRD sold me. Great admiration for this man's work.
Also, since I'm from Pittsburgh originally, I appreciate his background.
With FREE AS A BIRD and Beatles in mind, I've uploaded "40 Years In 3
Minutes" which is a music video I made tightly synched to GET BACK and
GLASS ONION, trying to capture key events over the last 40 years. Includes
8mm home video clips of the early 70's.
As a commercial director ... Joe Pytka has always been one of my personal
heroes -- and not just for his imagery. Thank you, Mr. Pytka. You've given
more than you may realize.

LOL - In the 1970s synching film cameras shooting at 24fps and tv monitors broadcasting at 30fps was a big deal. It required all kinds of expensive time base correctors to slow down the tv signal and syncronize the image to the standard film rate. Headaches. Big drama.
