The way you guys frame it is like men are sexual beings who can't be controlled.... like they are savages or beast. If that were the case then why would you believe that men are the head of the household? Or why would God make men prophets and leaders if they were so out of control crazy?Men are human beings with the ability of self control and reason,just like women are capable of. If you are Christians then you know that Jesus said that it's not what's on the outside that defiles you but what is already in you. Meaning if a woman is dressed inappropriately or drunk, it is what is inside of the man that made him rape her, not her behavior. Also the bible says if your hand is making you do wrong, cut it off, if your eye is making you do wrong, gouge it out. So I guess the solution to preventing rape is restricting the person with the capability for rape. Having a woman dress a certain way or behave a certain way to stop men from assaulting her is implying that it is her fault. The one who commits rape should be responsible for his actions, not the victim. OMG...this drives me crazy. Think critically about this. Unlike cocaine or a car, women are humans who breathe and think and have emotions. They are not something to be locked away or diminished so they won't be harmed.
