I love this channel, but am I the only one not enjoying the ASMR cooking
videos? I miss Runny's narration in them it's just not the same as videos
like these.
Another cooking channel I like has both a narration/music and an ASMR version. You have to edit the video before adding sound anyway, so you'd already have it... I think that's the best option!
+jenhuynhsee 180°C is fine, but you want to be wary about getting any hotter than that. Deep frying cooks food very quickly so take care to reduce the cooking time, probably to about 1.5min on each side. Make sure that your oil has a smoke point at least 10~20 degrees higher than your intended temperature too, to avoid burning.
+Hinoarashii you can also take a pork chop, slice it across, and then pound out each slice (between cling film with a meat hammer or a heavy pan) until they're thin.
i always notice katsu and other fried stuff served w/ undressed cabbage and
tomatoes (obviously to offset richness of fried food with something fresh
and cooling) - are these components to be eaten without any seasoning just
in conjunction with the friend main component as basically just an
undressed salad?
+Jasper Patterson That's basically right, but it isn't like it's necessary to keep it undressed. Sometimes you'll find dressed vegetables, but the choice of cabbage as opposed to something sweeter like lettuce is for the specific flavour of cabbage to begin with to complement the dish. Just make sure to soak it thoroughly in ice cold water for a while to get rid of its pungency.
Koikeya japanese umeboshi Potato chips 【開封】すっぱムーチョ 梅 コイケヤ
@polerix umeboshi. pickled ume fruits common in Japan. Ume is a species of
fruit-bearing tree in the genus Prunus, which is often called a plum but is
actually more closely related to the apricot. Umeboshi are a popular kind
of (pickles) and are extremely sour and salty. They are usually served as
side dishes for rice or stuffed inside of rice balls (sometimes without
removing their seeds inside) for breakfast and lunch. They are occasionally
served boiled or seasoned for dinner.
