My predictions on the line up for FA Cup.
===========Caballero============
==Sagna=Kompany=Mangala=Clichy==
===========Fernando============
=Milner=======Silva=======Kolarov=
=======Dzeko=====Aguero========
Kolarov is great at crossing and he has a powerful shot. Barker might come in later on if City is leading, it might be tough to throw him against Chelsea. I know its FA Cup, but its also against a great team and City doesnt want to play 70% just because its FA Cup. After a bad game against Arsenal, City needs a great game and a comeback. Losing to Chelsea will give Chelsea more confidence is EPL. Its also another reason why Aguero will play with Dzeko up top. Start the game strong and get an early goal. Around 70th min is time to put in new guys. Dzeko is great in the air with crosses and Aguero and Dzeko play great togehter. Just look at assists between them and from sides Milner can cross as he did VS Hamburg and Kolarov knows how to find Dzeko in the box from the other side. This game can be a great comeback and a moral booster for City. Its what team needs now, and Aguero and Dzeko need more playing time after there injury to get prepared for the game against Chelsea.
+AnelStylez Also true, I remember in the first two games Dzeko played in front of Jovetic and it was working perfectly because Jovetic was feeding Dzeko with the passes and playing as a supporting player.
+Hanta Catalan I agree in that people rate him too much but for city he is a true fighter. Also he is inconsistent but only because of his much better partner Aguero. He takes all the spotlight and Dzeko is a good guy why should you want to ditch him ?
+Luke of Lancs wow you really took your time to explain i appreciate that. in my opinion Jovetic should play behind aguero in a 4-4-1-1 formation to get both of them involved. Bony could replace Aguero if he's injured or not fit.
Just because he scores one goal, everyone loves him again, he is such an inconsistent player. He never does ANYTHING and I have no idea why people overrate the guy, he's shit
+The Brick Lab TV Agreed, Dzeko has given too much for this club for us to just send him away as if he's nothing, especially last season when KUN and Alvaro were injured he stepped up.
To be fair Dzeko has been plagued with injuries this season and he came back twice only to get injured on both occasions on his return - he got injured in the warm up on at least one occasion for sure. Lets not forget, Dzeko's goals helped us win the league last season and he was one of the club's top scorers last season. The only time he wasn't injured he scored 4 goals then couldn't get a peep because Pelle started playing 4-2-3-1 and Dzeko just isn't going to play ahead of Aguero for that one striker spot really, is he?Jovetic... I think can score goals but he needs a run of games. He too has been plagued with injuries again and has been kept on the bench by Aguero too. In my opinion he would make a better attacking midfielder as he likes to play deeper than were I would want my striker to be. Jovetic is more flair - flick on's and one twos etc. He is guilty of overplaying sometimes but he definitely possesses talent. I just think he lacks directness - and that is something I would want from my striker, like what Aguero does - looking to get in the box. Jovetic rather roams outside it like a false 9 whenever I've observed him, trying to send in the likes of Nasri, Silva and Toure. It could be useful to retain this kind of player as he does offer a different dimension to the team in these lights.Honestly, I can only see one of them moving - not both. We already have UEFA breathing down our necks about FFP. We'd likely go for a big money replacement for one, rather than replace two average strikers with another two average strikers. Probably Cavani or something given that Blanc has had enough of him at PSG... The point is, we'd only sell to upgrade and I don't think we would be able to splash out on two upgrades at ST and still be able to finetune other aspects of the team without UEFA coming down like a ton of bricks again.
