I hate this stretch. Terrible cycle lane through the door zone, forcing a strong primary and you are just waiting for aggro for "not using the cycle lane".

This is definitely not a cycle friendly road and not one for the unwary rider. It has cropped up on my channel from time to time over the years. I think perhaps though that motorists are starting to come to terms with sharing the road with cyclists. Punishment passes don't seem to happen as often as they once did... Stay out of that door zone though!

Yes, the old front is the current rear. The old rear failed altogether. I recently replaced my racktop box and the camera mount wasn't as secure as before. I think it got shaken apart. The new front is the new one as you've spotted.As these guys seemed intent on starting in too high a gear it was satisfying to get a jump on them, even though I knew at least one of them would have to pass me back. The one who stayed with seemed to reconsider though.
