sometimes when interlaced videos are scaled down like when I play a 1080i
video on my netbook, the video gets wavy when there is fast motion. One
solution I think might help is to make sure you shoot the video in 60fps
interlaced (60i) and then encode the FINAL video to 30fps progressive
(30p). Hopefully this will solve your problem. If you are just playing back
the videos you shot on a smaller than 1920x1080 screen or if you shot the
video using the 30p mode then that is your problem.
lol, you need a better computer. If you have a good video card like an
nvidia 7900gs at least, you can get a hardware accelerated player like
cyberlink powerdvd 9 w/ bluray support. Windows 7 includes hardware
acceleration in windows media player. As far as encoding goes, you need
something that supports avchd like the newer Adobe Premier Elements or
Adobe Premier CS4. CS3 does not support avchd at all.
I have one of these cameras....thanks for putting up the test video...you
are also able to see Dale Chihuly Glass art!!....Also seen the wind
sculptures in Sedona AZ...anyway its good to see what my camera can
do...Rgds...Laurie
you need a shorter intro... I know who you are and what your vids are about
a minute before you actually start talking. I love your vids otherwise...i
just hate having to fast fwd tot he good stuff. Keep it up!
It may look like that when viewing in HD, it might be your video card can't
process the images quick enough. Making a choppy effect. It does that for
me when I view it in HD, but SD it looks perfectly fine.
i have problems with the bitrate or something. everything that moves when i
film with my hf 10 becomes like wave'y. like ghost is. i can't a clear shot
at skateboarders f.ex. what TO DO'?!!?!
You have to give us details on your recording. 60i or 24p? I just bought
this camcorder at costco's because of the price. Thanks for the heads up
that I could find it there for 550.
Sorry, but doesn't blow me away. Yes, it's sharp and it's 720p resolution
but somehow the colors are dull. This could be caused by the H.264
QuickTime gamma shift bug.
WoW...this is some fantastic quality. Now that i've seen it in action, i'm
pretty much sold on what i'm getting. Hopefully an upgrade comes out before
i buy..
i already know how to download them im just saying it would be easyer if he
enabled the option to download them strait from youtube like whatthebuck
does.
