well.. that is not easy to explain, but i'll try. Spain gave Gibraltar and the waters in the harbour (that was what Great Britain accepted). And in the last few years the british government is taking more and more, they want something they wasn't given (some of the Spanish waters where lots of fishermen earn they living). That is why Spanish are annoyed with Gibraltar. Because Spain has accepted the terms with Morocco to keep Ceuta and Melilla, and they don't ask for more. That is the real problem, if someone gives something to you, you just keep it, you don't go and ask for more.It is not a problem about returning the colonies, but about enforcing treatings. If you just do what you accorded to, it's all okay, but if you don't, then don't wonder why everyone is mad at you.Hope i explained that correctly

that is right, Gibraltar was a gift form Spain after the help received from Great Britain. But Spain has colonies in North Africa (Ceuta y Melilla) and the European further south place (Tarifa, spanish since the XV century). Those places give Spain one of the best places taking about the control of the Mediterranean Sea
