+Craig Solow Many of the homeless folk I met down there were very nice, but I can't speak for all of them. I certainly wouldn't go down on my own. Always bring a friend, and avoid going down in winter months. During winter, there is a larger homeless population because it stays warm down there.If you'd like to go, head down sometime during summer months in the daytime.
