+Bubalo Ezekiel here Sister, I would allow Him to be interesting also, i.e. Picture yourself somewhere that you would really enjoy, a lake, park, beach, mountains, anywhere. Then Imagine seeing Jesus come up to you in that place. Maybe He will sit down in the green grass with you, he may speak, he may just love you and be there with you. I love tropical forests and oceans. Sometimes He will take me by the hand, and we will literally fly across the tree canopy of a jungle, ending up on a beautiful beach, barefoot surfing on the tops of the waves, and gliding along in the breezes,...if you can think it, or imagine it - He will do it. Why, because He Sanctifies your Imagination and makes it Holy, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you along on the most wonderful adventures in Heaven. At that point, it is no longer your imagination - It becomes a very real time spent together with Him. Just find a place with no tv,phones, or computer interruptions. Might have to start in your car. Anyway, Wow! It will change your whole life of prayer - and He will begin to speak in Person to you from the scriptures.Don't be embarrassed, give it a try - Just ask Him to help you, and He will show up in the most Awesome ways!!

When you talk about perfumes, I am reminded of when I put on some expensive perfums that I brought with me from Paris. first time I could not smell it, then I sprayed them on more a second time, but still no scent. I said, "Lord what is the matter with this perfum?" He said, "do not use perfumes of the World, I will give you Heaven's fragrances". Well that was the last time I use perfumes, I gave the three bottles that I had to friends. So when I get ready to go to Church, I said "Lord, please put Heaven's fragrance on me !!!!" I really believe that He did put them on me. We have a lot of things to talk about in Heaven....I can't wait. God bless

He's doing the same thing with me too.    I was worse than what Clare mentioned she was like regarding fashions , make-up, interior decorating, etc..  When I was a kid, all I did was read every fashion  magazine available and every interior decorating magazine I could get my hands on... reading them in the grocery store while my mother was shopping, or  borrowing them from the library.    Talk about to-do lists.. I used to make tons of "to-do" lists and "to buy" lists,  and since I sewed, I also wrote up "to sew" lists      Wow, what a slavery!          The Lord showed me how gluttonous I can be if I let my human nature take over.   When I put Him in the center of my heart, I am content with what I have.  When I actually DO need anything, I ask Him to help me find it but that HE would choose what He would like to see me wear... not what I would choose based on the latest world fashion trends, etc.      Since letting HIM choose for me based on what He would enjoy seeing me wear,  I  "accidentally"  get led to just what I  needed which actually looks very pretty on me ... very feminine.  And it's often on a clearance rack and never expensive.   All  day when I wear it, I'm reminded of Him and how HE chose it for me .. not myself.   And believe me, He knows all of our body types and what looks the best for each of us without calling attention to our selves..        He chooses understated and elegant/feminine things for me where at one time I used to pick flashy, designer mini skirt things.     I actually get compliments now and ironically I no longer desire the compliments!     A lot of times when I know someone is open to hear it, I'll tell them how the Lord picked my outfit for me.        When I use a perfume spray , I like to use very soft scents that I know He'll like if He is standing by me.. (since He's not a spirit... Jesus is actually ALIVE and who knows how many times He may be invisible around us at work or home..  and why not smell nice around Him and not stale smelling after a hard day at work!..lol        I like to wear this Frankenscence & Myrrh essential oil natural spray that I discovered which makes me think of Him...   and I know He probably likes it since that's what He was given as a child by the Wise men.

(see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wgtkqngxgo)I see your "problem" because in some ways I have the same issues: I've cut out the world, dedicated my life to Him...but it DOES leave a void of time that must be filled, and boredom is the enemy's way of grabbing your attention.I have two thoughts for you: try (this is going to sound strange, but hang in there with me!!) doing a little LESS Scripture reading...and during one of your reading times, only read until you feel the Lord "quicken" a verse or set of verses to your heart. Then perhaps write that down, and spend some of your open time to meditate on that. Several times a day, when you have a potential "boring time". Repeat it, read it, mull it over, open it up to the Holy Spirit to speak it into your heart and life...and then, since HE brought it up to you, ask Him what to do with it, how to apply it to your life....and follow the path He brings you on with it all. Engaging with the Lord in this way will draw you closer and closer to His heart and take much of that boredom away - because now you are engaging His thoughts, His mind into your reading, and it becomes an exciting adventure to be following His thoughts! He may bring a book to your attention to read to teach you an aspect He just brought up in Scripture to you. He may steer you to meet someone who has a need - something you can pray for, meet that person with, help do something for/with them. In other words, spend some of your open time ministering to someone else as an outbreak of what He is teaching you in your private time. The second is this: I have to depend on Youtube friends, email friends and Facebook friends for my fellowship in the Lord - because those "real people" that surround me think watching for the Lord, pursuing holiness and drawing out of the world is just plain crazy....! And don't even MENTION the Rapture!! So, the Lord led me to a group called Inside Out. They are an online, Facebook school that teaches how to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Classes are taught over Skype in how to seek the Holy Spirit's ability/gift to Prophecy, to Heal, to give (and receive) Deliverance and a whole slew of other things. The people are loving and kind, the Trainers are wonderful - and if you "get activated" long enough - you find yourself using those gifts to lift up and edify, help, encourage people all over the place!! If this would interest you, it would give you some SERIOUS relief from that boredom - it's NEVER boring in an I/O class!! (I've actually moved into being a Co-trainer there myself lately.)Hope this helped a little! Hugs Brother, I know where you're coming from. +GodsWork InProgress I've often asked the Lord for his Holy Spirit to work on my heart, particularly the deep recesses part. The Lord has given me dreams a couple of times before that revealed areas of my life that had fallen short. Such as I was in a delicate situation where a decision has to be made and having done that, I knew in my spirit that I had sinned. Yet in real life situations, I knew that I would have made a better choice. Last night also, I had a dream and unfortunately I was unable to remember the details of the dream, but the Holy Spirit put it strongly in my heart that it was an issue of honesty. Though I asked the Lord for forgiveness, yet I grappled with it the whole day and was later, led to the message by Sis Clare and I knew that’s it. God has something to say to me. Thank you, Lord!
