White poor males are the most oppressed group in America

It's not about preferential treatment, it's about fair treatment. It's about helping out poor white guys.....you know, this angry bitter woman makes me a little sick. This is not "preferential treatment." It's about making options available for poor whites. Ignorant women, would say,"You don't know what it's like to be us," but have absolutely no sympathy for anybody else of a different race or gender.

It sounds idiotic when you look at it on the surface. But when you look at it in the context of white supremacy and black subjugation, it makes perfect sense. When you look at the legacy of slavery, Jim crow, Jane crow, and the new Jim crow; you see how African Americans have been placed at a disadvantage. Blacks only scholarship tend to aim to level the playing field to their white counterparts. Creating a whites only scholarship will be counterproductive and raise the playing field higher; thus defeating the purpose of a black only scholarship. You have to look at the context to really understand it. In a perfect world, whites have every right to a whites only scholarship as blacks would to a blacks only scholarship. But this world ain't perfect and there are inequalities that these scholarships seek to correct.

I'm not a white male...But he's not wrong. If there are black/asian/hispanic etc only scholarships for almost all demographics then technically it's showing inequality if you cannot have white male only scholarships. At the end of the day, despite males not being oppressed, those that are young and in that position of applying for college deserve just as much help getting through college than their next peer. Women also do not make significantly less than men and there is not legal inequalities between all races. If women did the same work for less then every company would higher women...so think about that for a sec. You cannot fight for equality by taking down the majority's rights. You have to fight to get to the same level as the majority. Personally, legally everyone has the same rights in america. The only difference is that the majority are white males. If there's no black people in a company then you check how many black people applied for the job first, then you can decide whether there is sufficient doubt over whether the person hiring has actually made his decision based on race. If this is the case, then that particular person is a racist, however those applying for college should not be held accountable for the actions of racists that apparently define america's "culture". By challenging this white male only scholarship, you're actually opposing true equality. In a sense you'd be oppressing this group, regardless if they are the majority.. Equality is so simple to understand: Either the law applies to everyone....or it cannot be allowed to pass. If you mess around with that, then you are promoting inequality.

I am in the protection field with a background in investigations & the military. You dont know what your talking about, AT ALL. The apartment wasnt a crime scene, nobody died or was killed there-Duh. The owner of the property opened the apartment to the media because once it is boarded up (and it is common practice ) it signifies completion by law enforcement/forensics/investigators. There was no tape or notice by law enforcement or by the court NOT to unboard it-Duh. I live here in San Bernardino. I know people affected by this. it is real. it happened. these 2 animals killed 14 and wounded 17 others. As for SB officers being prepared, we have a huge training facility near Devore which is less than 10 miles from there. CHP also has a ficility blocks away. SBPD is 2 miles away. SB county Sheriff is near by. We pride ourselves on our readiness.

It seems I always try to find something good about Muslims, but never do. All the muslims I met while incarcerated who pricks as well and thought they were better than everyone else.
