This was a great production! WOW! Even better than what we would get in New York or Chicago in terms of singing and the passion. I love it. The music and the singing was absolutely wonderful. Perhaps the audience was small or didn't know what they were looking at, but the place should have been rocking after this performance! Great job!

I hope the tenor and soprano begin doing some Wagner soon. Verdi is pretty good; but Wagner is a genius.

This performance would be great except for the annoying and senseless cuts in several ensembles.

Do you mean a DVD of this particular production or just of Verdi's "Jérusalem"? If you mean the latter, there exist of a DVD of a production from the Carlo Felice Theatre in Genova, conducted by Plasson . don't know if that's any help.

I've seen this opera in Vienna later, in 2001, in so called "verdi weeks". Cast was different, but Coelho was very good - I think this role is the best thing she has ever done....It was a great night!

Grandissimo Ramey, as usual. Preferisco però la versione italiana, in particolare quella della Scala dove cantava la Dimitrova e se ci fosse stato anche Ramey sarebbe stata perfetta.

Unfortunately there is no commercial DVD of this production. That's the only material of Verdis Jerusalem that I have :-(
