I was alone during my first few days in Dubai as my friend hadn't arrived yet, but I still had a fabulous time! It was lovely wondering the city at my own pace and I ...
Things have changed a LOT in Dubai. I would not recommend anyone come to
live here. It is very expensive, and the jobs are not as good now. Also, I
do not feel welcomed here anymore, and plan to leave as soon as my current
contract is over. It is a fact that most people leave Dubai with less money
than they came here with. I do not recommend Dubai, at all.
+Sawda Hashi when I lived here in UAE back in 2012 things were a lot different than they are now in 2015. Dubai has changed, and not for the better. It has become harder to live here. It is more difficult and more expensive to do a lot of basic things like: get an apartment, register a lease, register a car, connect utilities, get a bank account, etc. UAE once prided itself on Arab hospitality. I do not feel this anymore.
+feedsunj ever since i was a little girl, all i've wanted to do is travel and take pictures of landscapes and beautiful people. i am hoping to make it a reality

Travelling Makes You Lonely
Hi my little mangos! Does travelling make you lonely? And if it does, is it okay to be lonely? I've noticed when I travel I can feel alone even though I am ...
I'm glad I watched this video. I remember feeling lonely overseas as
nothing was familiar except myself. Then I came back home and I was
instantly bored of the routine. I haven't managed to travel alone since but
I really want to but I can't find a job to get the money and my current
money would only allow me to travel for two weeks and I want to travel for
longer to avoid that terrible feeling I had when I came back.
+Dawn Bishop I think two weeks it enough! It's long enough to be by yourself and escape for a while and since it's only a small amount of time but you would embrace it so much more x
+speedy likeafox that would've been a great time to spend with yourself :)
Would you rather travel alone or in a group?
We asked a bunch of students if they would rather travel alone or in a group, so many different opinions. What would you prefer?

Alone In An Office
So having moved into an office a couple of weeks ago we realised that the office building is open 24 hours. This is what we've been getting up to after hours.
Whoever is skating mongo (pushing with their front foot) needs to stop! You
get hardly any control over the board from it (see 2:33) which is quite
dangerous, it means you have to take extra steps to get your foot back on
the board, and it just has no style.
