The Scenic route to the North. Starts on the North Auckland Motorway, off onto State Highway 16 (Helensville), back onto State Highway 1 at Wellsford, then to ...
Here my first video, started from 22nd August 2012. I hope you enjoy it. 1. Blue Nissan on braking point. 2. BMW 530D changing lane. 3. Nissan Skyline ...
To all the people saying that the Nissan isn't a skyline: The GTR r-35 is
the spiritual successor of the(now concluded) skyline series. It has the
same engine as the R-34, the looks are close, although a lot less edgy, and
the car drives like a Skyline in sound, speed, handling. So, yeah, you
could still call the R-35 a skyline, even though it isn't oficially.
A car's acceleration does not make it corner better, I think that has a bit more to do with suspension geometry. It's the same idea in that it's a turbocharged Nissan, but that's about all. You won't find an advanced launch control system on an old r32 that's for sure.
This is pretty much the same stuff, man. It just waits for you to get to a corner, where it's superior acceleration will boost it to the front of the pack. It may not be the same technology, but it's the same idea, if anything.
Sorry man but I don't agree, they sound different, handle differently, have a different engine, look different (except I do think they look a lot like their predecessor which also had a v6 although N/A and not nearly as powerful- the Infiniti G35, although I don't consider those real "skylines" either.) A true skyline has a turbo inline 6 and wants to kill you on every corner!
you need to be more specific when talking about these things. GT-R had been used for many many years. whether or not the name SKYLINE has been dropped or not. there have been too many revisions. but no, they aren't the same motor. they're similar as far as being inline 6 motors (comparing the rb26 inside of r32, r33, and r34 cars), but that is where the similarities end.
The GT-R uses the new Japanese technology and is a completely JDM-made engine. The Skyline engine, as far as I know, is the same as the BMW M3 engine with some JDM tune. Can't tell you for sure, though.
+Mairo San never said you were wrong on that part. should be obvious since they haven't changed the GT-R name.still, two very very different engines that shouldn't be confused.
